Grazing the goats on an unfenced part of the property, one of the youngsters became separated from the herd and began screaming in panic. I followed him, attempting to reassure him, talking to him calmly despite my growing uneasiness, but he continued his frantic bleating. I was suprised at how easy it was to get swept up in the drama and I imitated his cry to see if it would make a difference. Nope. Halfway up the hill toward home, he continued to scream. His brother lifted his head, momentarily and gave a gentle bleat. The wayward goat was unable to hear it over his own screaming. I imitated his brother’s bleat and he turned quickly around just as his brother bleated again. He bounded back down the hill and rejoined the herd.
It’s amazing how many free life lessons are available from nature😂…
-Family is important for many many reasons
-Panic can be contagious…it can lead you back to the familiar but away from where you need to be.
-Sometimes we need a trusted brother to talk us down.
-Help may be difficult to perceive above our own noise

What does the answer to your prayer in the midst of your storm look like?
Jesus’ closest followers and friends…in the small fishing boat on the raging sea, prayed to Him Who was in their midst. " Lord save us, we are going to die!"
….But that was not His plan😊. (Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven)
Eph 3:18-20 He can do more than we can think or imagine. ♥️♥️we are encouraged to be shamelessly persistent, ask and KEEP ON ASKING, seek and KEEP ON SEEKING, knock and KEEP ON KNOCKING♥️♥️. Luke 11:8-10the neighbor asked specifically for what he needed in the moment…bread. And he knocked, at midnight, and knocked persistently until the door was opened. What does the answer to your prayer look like? What is the answer to your request? What does it look like? My shameless persistent prayer is for the Lord's lost sheep. For EACH one to be returned, surrendered back to the safety of the loving embrace of our Protective Father in heaven. Will you join with me in fervent prayer until they all come home? Almighty Father Who Lives and Rules and Reigns over all. I ask You for a personal revelation from You Our Lord Jesus Christ, to remove the veil of lies that has held Your beloved captive and reveal the Truth that he is loved so incredibly more than he could ever think, that the Holy Spirit light is turned on that it brings him to his knees with cleansing tears of joy, and his enthusiasm for Truth is contagious, with Holy Spirit fire, a New Contagion, spreading like a fast moving flame across dry grass, igniting stony hearts with a heat so intense that they break open revealing the fleshy hungry heart that fully trusts in You to protect and guide. I ask that You place Your saints in positions to continually speak Your Words of Life to him, fanning this flame to intensity and they fill Your House so the walls can barely contain them. Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit I recognize your heart for the lost, I understand Your Power to save. I humbly and reverently ask you for an expedient answer to my request and ask too that you forgive me of any and all offenses that I have made toward you, your kingdom and your creation and I forgive each one that I have been holding captive in unforgiveness so that I can approach you with a clean heart, mind, and hands. Use me as Your willing servant in Your harvest. I thank You in advance for Your powerful answer to my petition to bring my beloved and Yours, back to the safety beneath Your Wings and I ask for protection for his mind and heart continually. Awesome Almighty Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, I stand in utter and complete amazement and awe at the Work of Your Hands. By the Power of Jesus Name I seal this request, Amen.

This is for you,
When you question your purpose, your life meaning, your direction.
When you lose your hope, your way, yourself.
When you grieve, are in despair, Please…
draw on strength and have the courage to look up. You are never lost, nor forgotten. He sees you. He is calling you by name.
This is for you
14 For this reason [grasping the greatness of this plan by which Jews and Gentiles are joined together in Christ] I bow my knees [in reverence] before the Father [of our Lord Jesus Christ], 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth [a]derives its name [God—the first and ultimate Father]. 16 May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality], 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, 18 be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; 19 and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself].

20 Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, 21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21

Encouraging article about how exercise can help to regenerate brain cells.
"Although scientists thought until recently that humans were born with a certain number of brain cells and would never generate more, they now know better. In the 1990s, using a technique that marks newborn cells, researchers determined during autopsies that adult human brains contained quite a few new neurons. Fresh cells were especially prevalent in the hippocampus, indicating that neurogenesis — or the creation of new brain cells — was primarily occurring there. Even more heartening, scientists found that exercise jump-starts neurogenesis."
"Just how exercise remakes minds on a molecular level is not yet fully understood, but research suggests that exercise prompts increases in something called brain-derived neurotropic factor, or B.D.N.F., a substance that strengthens cells and axons, fortifies the connections among neurons and sparks neurogenesis. Scientists can’t directly study similar effects in human brains, but they have found that after workouts, most people display higher B.D.N.F. levels in their bloodstreams."

A mouse that runs all the time is smarter than one that doesn’t. Probably true for people, too.

The first randomized controlled study recently published in The Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry proves what we have been observing for the last ten years here at the ranch. For the Autism Spectrum Disorder population, horseback therapy significantly improves social communication behaviors and increases the number of new and total words spoken.

Following picture began circulating in November. It should be "The Picture of the Year," or perhaps, "Picture of the Decade." It won't be. In fact, unless you obtained a copy of the U.S. paper w hich published it, you probably would never have seen it. The picture is that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by surgeon named Joseph Bruner. The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from his mother's womb. Little Samuel's mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta. She knew of Dr. Bruner's remarkable surgical procedure. Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the womb. During the procedure, the doctor removes the uterus via C-section and makes a small incision to operate on the baby. As Dr. Bruner completed the surgery on Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny, but fully developed hand through the incision and firmly grasped the surgeon's finger. Dr. Bruner was reported as saying that when his finger was grasped, it was the most emotional moment of his life, and that for an instant during the procedure he was just frozen, totally immobile. The photograph captures this amazing event with perfect clarity. The editors titled the picture, "Hand of Hope. Little Samuel's mother said they "wept for days" when they saw the picture. She said, "The photo reminds us pregnancy isn't about disability or an illness, it's about a little person" Samuel was born in perfect health, the operation 100 percent successful. Now see the actual picture, and it is awesome...incredible....and hey, pass it on! The world needs to see this one!
