Our kennel is named after the Wrangell mountains – one of the most beautiful, rugged mountain ranges in Alaska. Our family enjoyed living in Alaska for years before moving to Southern California. We now live in the high desert off of I-15 between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. We are small family-based breeders who strive to maintain the outstanding qualities of the giant Alaskan malamute in temperame

nt, look, and size. We have so much fun with our mals, who keep us busy, and entertained with their lively, energetic personalities. In addition to the qualities of health, structure and temperament, our two mals were chosen based on their excellent lineage. They have the likes of Aluk, Snowden, Chevelier, Vykon, Towbar, Moonridge, “old” Wakon, Cascades and more in their heritage. They come from weight pullers and championship bloodlines. Check out their pedigrees in their individual profiles. We are very pleased with the combination of these two mals – Kingfisher’s ‘Laska Dream is very intelligent, easy to train, loves people and yet is independent. She is a beautiful, sleek, athletic woolly malamute. ‘Laska’s River Delta is a beast! He’s a fun loving, playful, full of life, woolly gentle giant. Between these two, our litters will produce the temperament, build and health you are looking for in a malamute.
