Dear Groomin’ on 202 and LuckyPaws Community,

I know that we all have been dreading this but the time has come. As you all know me, I am not a person of many words so here goes:

It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that I will be retiring from Groomin’ on 202 by the end of 2024, potentially 2025. We'll see how things go. This is not a decision I take lightly. My heart says no, but my body says yes.

Your probably asking, ‘Why announce it now?’. I figure it’s going to take a while for everyone to find a groomer. I know a lot of your pets do better in a quiet atmosphere and I know there are few private groomers in the area that are not attached to doggie day cares. Pets form a close relationship with their groomer. It is important to find that groomer that forms a bond with your pet(s).
I would like to start transitioning the dogs that put the most stress on my hands by the end of 2023.

That being said, it doesn’t mean you have to wait. If you find another groomer now, please take that opportunity. Though I will be sad to see you go. I just ask that you let me know when your last appointment will be as I have very special gifts that I plan on giving for the 2023 Holiday season.

Even though Groomin’ on 202 will be closing, LuckyPaws Pet Sitting Services will continue. For those of you that don’t know what that is. It is a special service that I provide to your pet(s) when you go away. I do one of two things, either visits or overnights. For more information, let’s talk.

It’s been a pleasure to transform your pets into stylish beauties. I look at each and every pet as one of my own, some of which I have been grooming since I opened Groomin’ on 202 in November of 2011. I will miss you all. 😢

Here's another chance to get your pets rabies updated if you can't make the Dixmont one listed below.

Dixmont Rabies Clinic-
JAN 24th, 2023 from 6 to 7pm at the Dixmont Town Office.
Cat & Dogs- $15.00. Vet can come to vehicle if the animal is nervous. Open to anyone.

Also don't forget that all dogs must be registered by January 31st. As of February 1st, they will then be 31 or 36 dollars to register.

I can so relate to this. So glad it's not just me 🤣
