Cat MISSING from MONROE

Can you please share my post

Missing cat Monroe Ny. Near hala dr.
Surrounding roads would be cedar cliff rd, Beverly rd, Graham pl, and osseo park rd. I know that’s quite the spectrum but where he was placed was on Hala in a home surrounded by woods. “Leo” was part of a TNR project and couldn’t be returned to the location he was trapped so he was being acclimate to a sheltered outdoor environment and the person that had him did NOT listen and let him out of his crated set up and since he has no clue that’s his new place to stay he’s gone. If you know anyone on those roads please share this post or ask if Leo has been spotted so we can set up a trap and re trap him. He’s scared and will not come to anyone. We need to get him back safely. He has his left ear tipped indicating he’s been neutered and has had his vaccines as well. Please help. I can be reached at (845)567-3114.

Benji was spoken for at the time of posting, but unfortunately the adoption fell through before he went to his new home. What a lucky break for some fantastic family out there who is looking for the cutest tabby on the planet!

Benji is the runt of the litter, but that has never stopped him from taking his place as Team Leader. He was the first to figure out how to climb out of the pen and always leads the charge out of the kitten room when his foster mom opens the door. Benji loves wrestling with his feline step-brother, despite being 1/3 of his size. White kitties are amazing feats of nature, and, as “luck” would have it, we happen to have 3 amazing white babies who are currently looking for their purrfect forever homes!

Lucy – Female, 4 months. This little “heterochromia” girl sports one beautiful blue eye and one green. A nimble and athletic girl, she has zero problems keeping up with her brothers in the play department, and she often clears the toddler gate with ease, hoping for a few moments of freedom to explore her foster momma’s house outside the kitten room! She is also always one of the first to crawl into her foster momma’s lap and settle in for some cuddles. Lucy is a sweetheart of a girl, and her foster momma loves both her playfulness and her ability to be calm and relaxed, and consistently seek out affection.

Parker – Male, 4 months. This strapping dude has the cutest little gray splotch on his head. This is common with pure white kittens, and reflects the color they would have been if not for the dominant gene that suppresses their color! It will likely disappear when Parker gets his adult coat. Parker is a very striking looking kitty, with one blue eye and one green. He is very active and playful, even if not the most adept at clearing barriers and escaping like his sister, Lucy. I’m not even sure how to start this post. Most of you know myself and my crew do a lot of trapping/ (TNVR), socializing, rehoming, hospice/critical care, bottle feeding,vet checkups, adoptions etc. Calls and messages for help are CONSTANT! The guilt trips laid on us for help are CONSTANT! Shelters are full. Why is it so hard for people to grasp the importance of TRAPPING AND SPAYING AND NEUTERING??!! But no no.. Let’s try to get help when the mama cat you’ve been feeding had kittens that shockingly had kittens and now you can’t feed all of them and they are sick, feral and dying. Or the countless cases where mama cat was killed and now the babies are starving and will certainly die if no one helps..(yet you didn’t reach out when you first started feeding mama now did you?? Spaying her could have prevented her death and i wouldn’t have bottle babies) Ohhhhh and you can’t pay for any of them to get proper vet care?? Another shocker.
Point is, I’m sick of this and we just had 3 euthanasias 3 days in a row. And more on the way with a litter that tested positive for a rare genetic disease that paralyzes them slowly. That mama cat would have been spay aborted if people were not interfering with trapping(yet they are the ones called for help) Now my foster that has 2 of them adopted them since we know it’s just a matter of time and her heart will be the one shattering when she makes that call to euthanize. None of this is right. Myself and the wonderful group of people that foster for me are constantly getting crushed time and time again. We pick ourselves up and keep going.
Not this time. Now we need a moment to process all the losses and it’s our time to support one another. Personally I’m mentally, physically,emotionally, financially drained.
Anyone looking to adopt please reach out. We will continue posting some of our wonderful kitties that are just waiting for their families to come in and swoop them up. And you can still reach out if help is needed and I can do my best to direct you to someone that can hopefully help. For the time being my fosters and myself need to focus on the cases we have and continue making a difference in their lives while we try to heal ourselves. I feel for the veterinary staff that has to go on not only my emotional roller coaster but thousands of others as well. This isn’t easy for them either. I know we can’t save them all and I’m so proud of the ones we have saved but it’s time for us to heal now. ❤️

Meet the sweetest duo around! 💕 “Grinch,” an approximately 5-year-old neutered male gray tabby, and “Eve,” an approximately 4-month-old spayed female diluted tabby, are on the lookout for their forever family—together! 🏡

What’s better than rescuing an incredibly sweet and deserving adult cat and his adorable kitten best friend? 😻 This affectionate, outgoing, and friendly bonded pair met while in foster care, fell head over paws for each other, and the rest is history! 📖 They spend their days snuggled up together, with Grinch often wrapping his arm around his “baby” (even though they’re not related), grooming each other, playing together, and just enjoying each other’s company. They’re inseparable, and it’s our dream to find them a home where they can stay together forever. 💞

Grinch is everyone’s favorite foster cat—don’t let his name fool you! 🎄 He’s the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet and just loves to give and receive affection. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and kittens and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Grinch is also super playful and loves to chase ball toys around.

Eve is the last of her litter, rescued from a farm near Pine Bush, NY. Her littermates have all found their forever homes, but we knew that Eve was destined to be with her best buddy, Grinch. 🥰 She’s just as sweet, outgoing, and playful as Grinch and also adores other cats. 🐈

ADOPT NANA BANANA & ELIZABETH! Bonded Mama Cat & Kitten

This beautiful family has been in foster care since April and is patiently awaiting their forever home together.

Nana Banana and her five kittens were rescued locally from living in the attic of a detached garage. Nana is just about the sweetest, outgoing, friendly young cat you could ask for. She is still the most doting, loving mama to her two remaining girls, Elizabeth and Aria. She loves being held over your shoulder, will plop herself in your lap, and is just an all-around wonderful kitty.

Her daughter, Elizabeth, is Mama’s twin but with a Marilyn Monroe beauty mark on her lip. She is also a polydactyl with thumbs! Initially shy, once she is comfortable, she is the most affectionate, sweet girl who just wants to be by your side. She is her foster mama's favorite and loves to be scooped up to be held like a baby and smothered with smooches. If you can get past her initial shyness, you will be rewarded by witnessing what a true GEM of a kitten she is. It is perplexing that she has not been adopted yet.

These two are incredibly close and bonded and it would be just sad and wrong to separate two kitties that spend their days intertwined or giving each other baths. Their love for each other is a beautiful thing to watch.

Aria, the remaining solo kitten of the family, is also incredibly close with her mom and her sister. We know how hard it will be to find a loving home for all three, but if your heart and your home have room, you can't go wrong with these easy-to-love ladies. Aria is also initially shy, but is such a sweet, gentle soul that loves back and tummy tubs, watching birds outside, and getting a nice bath from mom.

**WYATT UPDATE**

Thank you for your generous donations for Wyatt! We had an overwhelming response and your Venmo and in-person donations have covered our bills for Wyatt so far! So, we are not doing a $5 Friday Fundraiser as previously planned - just in case anyone was looking for it!

Wyatt's condition is still day-to-day. Yesterday was seizure-free, but he is still being force-fed, not eating as much as we'd like him to, and the horrible diarrhea continues. There is also something odd and possibly neurological going on with his back legs. He is spooked easily, but he is being unbelievably cute. Time will tell for our Warrior Wyatt. Continue with the prayers and good vibes for our little guy.

Thank you again to this wonderful kitty community for caring about this precious boy. Enjoy this adorable video of him getting some food in his tum-tum.

*WYATT UPDATE*

Not the update we were hoping to provide, but after almost two days seizure-free and eating like a little champ, yesterday he started having cluster seizures again throughout the whole day. As you might imagine, it is so hard to watch an innocent, sweet baby like our Warrior Wyatt go through such an ordeal.

Luckily today there has been some improvement with seizures. He had a small seizure this morning, and seemingly nothing since. However, he has developed a bad case of diarrhea and vomited once today, so he is not as eager to eat.

Through it all, he is incredibly sweet and just wants to give and receive love. Once the seizures pass, which are thankfully very short, he acts like nothing happened. I am still hopeful, but it hasn't been the steady progress we had hoped for.

Please keep Wyatt in your thoughts and prayers. We will be posting a $5 Dollar Friday Fundraiser for our little guy later this week, but if you'd like to donate early, below is my Venmo information. MORE CHEDDAR UPDATES!

**7/9/24** Cheddar update from today's vet visit:

"Just got back from the vet, from what I hope was our last appointment for a long while. The staples are out, and all of his lab work is totally normal! He’s still going to remain on the antibiotics for two more weeks just to make sure. The hard area on his left flank, they are going to leave alone for now. They think it was a result of a lack of blood flow and some of the tissue died. It should eventually slough off. I’m supposed to send them pictures of it weekly just to keep them in the loop, and I can put either Vaseline or A&E ointment on it to soften it. Nothing with antibiotic on it, however. All good news for now. Hooray!!!"
