This is Peaches, (fka Bonnie) Here is what we know about her. She was born 8/2020, she is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and has been on monthly prevention her whole life. She is a small girl weighing only 20lbs. (Current family is experiencing health issues)
Long list of pros~ she is potty trained so well that she will claim a spot in the yard to go and that is the only area she will use, even on walks she will wait till she is back home. She is really sweet, very smart, knows several commands, she even knows how to pray. Good with children, cats, and other dogs. loves long car rides, can go anywhere with her family, is perfect for someone who works from home, an older person or couple looking for companionship.
Must haves~ Peaches needs a yard, and someone who can help her feel like she belongs, her family feels that after all these years she still doesn't know where she fits it, in her pack. Might be because there are other animals or too many humans (older children and friends coming over) Even though her family has done so much right with her over the years, sometimes it is just the wrong home. Would most likely do better if she was the only dog.
Lastly ~ she's a barker. When she is left alone she will bark, howl, and cry, she will not destroy anything, its just a little loud. So, she is not ideal for apartment living unless you're home all the time, or if you are going to dog friendly places where she can tag alone. She is very submissive and can be anxious at times. She is a rescue, and no one really knows what she went through in the past. She needs someone who is willing to work through this with her. A vet visit is the best place to start. (Family will be able to provide more insight to what they have done already)
