Hey guys Pocket Star became a mom last week and we’re able to raise up a couple of these guys as pets if anyone is interested.

We have 10 total, 5 girls, and 5 boys.

$1.50 for fuzzy sized feeders.

Add the roaches!!!!

Two tips here:

1. It’s recommended to add small, medium, and larges to avoid periods were the larges die off and their babies aren’t breeding size.

2. For females I recommend getting only larges as dubais only lay eggs 9 times in their, life including any they absorb, and with a fully grown female you don’t know how many cycles she has left.

These three girls were originally meant to be food so they’ve got a long way to go.

However, they’re already starting to come up for attention when approached, and they’ve only had one session!!

Dubai colony set up step 6: Check the light level. Dubai roaches like the dark and will be more prolific in darker conditions. That being said the light that comes from your ventilation holes are crucial for creating not only air flow but a day/night cycle. Your roaches need to know when to rest after all. (The lid had been poked for ventilation before this project and is being covered with a towel to help further darken the enclosure.)

Our fuzzies are now 8 days old and too big to all fit in my hand.
