Hi everyone!

I know I haven’t used this page in awhile but I wanted to pop on to let you know I no longer work for myself as a dog walker.

I am now with Shared Joy Dog Training as an in home trainer and class instructor so feel free to keep tabs on me there!

Practice a shady sniffy walk for your pups to avoid the heat 💜💜💜💜

Work on your engagement and follow skills with this low stress walk style!

Structured walks are sooo important but there’s also a time for low expectation sniffy walks too!

Steps:

1: get a long leash
2: walk one direction with your pup
3: if the leash gets tight or the dog starts pulling say “let’s go” and turn and go the other way
4: repeat

Only expectations:
1: walk WITH me
2: no pulling on the line
3: if I say “let’s go” you turn and come with me and if I say “come on, Lucy” you come with me
4: sniff whatever you like just stay within your boundaries!

This builds engagement, burns energy, helps impulse control, and builds up your relationship with your pup!

Hey guys!!

Walks will be paused for the summer starting next weekend!!

My regular weekly kids will be worked into my limited availability BUT any new doggos will be placed on my list for the fall!!

I took a summer job at Busch Gardens so I’m going to be super busy learning new things and making new animal friends! 🐴 🐑 🦅

I am so lucky to have so many wonderful doggo friends and parents and I am so proud of the work and effort you guys put into your dogs!

See you in the fall 🥰🖤🐩🐶

It’s officially summer and schedules are changing!

Parents don’t need as many walks for their pups as usual because kiddos are home to play with them! For the next few months there will be less availability and trickier temperatures for my usual type of walks!

Some things I’m still offering are:

1: 30 min - 1 hour Virtual sessions to answer any questions about behaviors at home!

2: In person walk sessions with me, you, and your pup in the evenings! 30 min - 1 hour with loooots of info and hands on explanation!

3: In home sessions to work on structure/ basics etc!
There will be less availability for these but I will do my best to make sure you get what you need!

Let me know if you’re interested!! Like I said my availability will be more limited this summer but I will always recommend somewhere else to turn if I am not able to help!!

I hung out with some of my favorite puppers today!!

Bobby and Opal’s parents needed to be away for a long time today. So I went over and hung out with them for a while to break up the time they had to be at home alone!

We played and cuddled and then played more and had a ton of fun. I love these two goobers 🖤🐩
