ROAD CLOSURE ALERT 🚨

For anyone coming out to our 1st Anniversary Party on Sunday, heads up that the Mammoth Music & Arts Festival will also be taking place and there will be some road closures. Read below 👇

NOTICE: Change in traffic pattern on Sixth Street and Monmouth Street on Sunday, October 5th.

This Sunday, Sixth Street will be closed from York Street to Saratoga Street and Monmouth Street will be closed from Fifth Street to Seventh Street from 9am to 11pm on Sunday, October 5th for Mammoth Music Festival (see diagram).

Chomper suddenly went blind about 3-4 months ago. This was her first time with us, so we knew taking extra time would be important.

Grooming can already be stressful, let alone not seeing what’s happening or who you’re even with can be an added stress. Calm voice and touches before we started helped Chomper build confidence with us.

No other dogs, just us working together. That is stress free grooming.

Hazel went through our preschool grooming program! She had small sessions leading up to her first groom. Hazel did very well her first groom and her parents did a great job of working on different holds and keeping her brushed.

We can’t wait see what her coat will look like as she continues to get older and her adult coat will grow in.

Yesterday Leo came in for his groom with us. He was super confident the whole time and when I grabbed the scissors to work on his head and face, his demeanor changed. Leo had lots of breaks and praise to build his confidence up. I went his pace and did what I could without over stressing him.

His parents said not long ago there was a mishap at a previous groomer around his head area.

After his groom, he was still coming up to me for treats and pets. His parents said he wasn’t trying to run out like he had in other salons. These are wins in the world of grooming!

I know someday, Leo will have full trust in me! I was so proud of him and what we accomplished in our first time together!

Arty is a great example of why we do our preschool program. Arty has been in the store many times and knows me.

His mom recently adopted him from a family that could no longer care for him. We weren’t entirely sure what his grooming had looked like previously. Once I took him back, I could see Arty was very nervous with the sounds, unknown grooming tools, and the holds we use.

Arty will be going through our preschool program so he can become comfortable with grooming and not forced in to it.

We are 1:1 grooming! No other dogs while yours gets groomed. Salons are noisy and even cage free are truly not stress free. Book with us now or get your puppy or rescue dog signed up for our program!

Rocco came in for his full schnauzer cut. He did so well even though dad said he can be pretty nervous at the grooming salon.

Dad chose us because we are one to one grooming (no other dogs getting groomed). Rocco loved posing and the second picture every customer can relate to when trying to get their dog to pose! Book now!

If I was told I could have another dog, lamby would be adopted today! The probability of that happening is very slim 🤣, so I’m advocating for her.

She came last week to see if we could do some nails. She walked in the store with her foster and was so scared. Tail tucked and barely walking. It took 5-10 mins with lots of treats and she eventually opened up. We did one nail and realized that was maybe to much.

Fast forward and she came back again today. She ran into the store and was so wiggly, excited, and came right up to me! In just a week of being in foster her whole demeanor has changed. We even got to do her back nails!! Front ones was still a little iffy, but a win is a win!

Lamby is looking for her forever home and I promise you will get the sweetest girl! She’s maybe around 30-35lbs.

Probably would do better with kids middle school and up or younger kids who are dog savvy and respectful. Loud noises startle her.

Seems good with other dogs. Cats are unknown.

Aliza Jane is getting adopted today! Her adopter needed a trim and touch up. Aliza didn’t have the best situation before, but is going to a great home. Aliza needed some breaks during her groom since it’s hard for her to stand long periods of time, but is leaving happy and fresh!

Absolutely love grooming and helping all of these pups!
