We are 4 bags away from our goal!! We are asking for people to buy a 30 lb bag of dog food that we will deliver to the shelter on December 22nd! The bag of food cost $42.

You can also do so in honor of a pet who has passed. Here are some pictures of pets whose owners have donated in their memory.

We recently had Gracie for a Pawsitive Reactions appointment. She had a traumatic experience as a puppy, which has made her dog selective. Her owners stated, because of her breed people just assume she’s dog friendly and walk up with their dog without asking. This can create challenges on walks and other public places.

It’s important to remember no matter the dog breed or even the size, you MUST ask first to approach someone’s dog. You don’t know the dog or their history.

All dog owners like Gracie’s family should be able to go on walks stress free and enjoy their time.

Gracie had a blast and slept hard after her appointment! We hope to see her again!

We support all types of dogs whether they are leash reactive, have stranger danger, or other behaviors that can make it challenging to go into public spaces.

Let’s find Reid a home! Please share his post! I worked with Reid at the shelter and fell in love with him. His foster mom brought him to see me today. We aren’t sure why he’s not adopted yet as you can see he’s the perfect dog!

I wanted to give an update regarding our Wagz and Pawz Pawsitive Reactions Program.

I've had some people reach out asking about the program and the details. Our program is now live and we've had two visitors so far. You can sign up for your own individual appointment by going to our website, shopwagz.com

Once you get into the website, you will need to click the drop down list and find the Pawsitive Reactions tab. From there, you will receive the full details of the program. Once you sign up, you will receive a google form to fill out to help us understand your dog's needs during their visit.

Please share this post as I know many people have been wanting to take advantage of this program. Please remember, we ask that if your dog is not considered a reactive dog that you do not sign up for an appointment. We want to support our pups who don't get the opportunity to go out into public as often. If you don't have a reactive dog, you can bring them to the store anytime. 😀Thank you!
