This is a scene one might encounter while walking their dog on the Leighty Nature trail at the Newry Lions Park. Muskovy Ducks! The trail runs next to Poplar Run, a crystal clear trout stream that originates in Blue Knob.
Lions purchased the 17 acre property from the Leighty farm family in 1959 with the promise that it will always be maintained as a community park.
