Sophie is coming to Corgi Camp. At five & a half years old, she has decided she doesn't want to share the family with her mini- Aussie sister and she'd prefer her own person all to herself. She's AKC ,spayed, utd on shots & worming and microchipped. She's house trained and crate trained and gets along with other dogs & also cats. She's a very good girl, sweet & loving, except when the chips are down with that one particular dog, then she's not about to back down without a fight. Sadly, her family has decided that she would be happier in a different home. I will most likely get her here in a few days. Please share with your Corgi friends. There will be some requirements & I will have a lot of questions so I can pick just the right new home.

It has been a busy week for the Fat Footed Companion Corgis Re-home Division ! First ,Archer arrived on a Wednesday & by Sunday I had come to the firm conclusion that he was going to be the perfect Corgi to place in a variety of homes, and I posted him on Sunday evening. Within minutes I was getting inquiries & agreed to meet a couple the next day that seemed to have the perfect home and in their words ' had always wanted a Corgi '. They drove away with him, but I had no sooner reached home than the phone rang . It seems they hadn't done enough prior Corgi research and were surprised how big he was ( he's medium average size ,) and how the bath & brushing they gave him produced copious fluff balls of hair ! I made arrangements to pick him up the next day. In the meantime, Brewster had been scooped up by Lisa & David, also in Louisville.....and he had sprung a little bump that they wanted me to look at, so as I was driving to Shelbyville to get Archer, I suggested we meet there & explained why I was going. Turned out, friends of theirs had recently lost their Corgi , & so wanted to give Archer a try. I resolved the bump in Brewster ( now Benny ) in a matter of seconds, & Archer hopped in the car with them & I have received several pics from his new family, who adores him & I'm thrilled. Then today Anne & Ray drove from Louisville to meet Archie ( Archie not Archer ) & the two girls, Pepper & Mulan, and after a good visit, they reserved Archie & he will go home with them after their upcoming short trip out of town. And texting back & forth from their Alaskan cruise, Casey Button Sacia ( already mother to Chief )solidified plans to collect Panda next week. As hard as it is to part with any of them ....I'm satisfied they will all have exceptional homes & get all the love & attention they rightfully deserve ! ( Note : Brewster now Benny & Panda are both pups from my program . Brewster was the last pup from my January litter, & Panda with his big brown eyes & fairy kiss on his head persuaded me to keep him from his ( Blackberry's ) litter a couple of years ago ).

I am so fortunate that I'm able to find great families for my Corgis. Dolly Madison has a new assignment with Kathie in Lagrange and will be trained to go to school & visit with Kathie's student in class. Georgie Porgy ( now Tandy ) is going to be the best Corgi friend to Sadie and her dad, Jared , & I'm sure I'll get to visit from time to time.

I have had over 70 inquiries. They are all still here.
I have responded, answered questions, resent pics, asked questions, give a price (not rehoming , not adopting out and not free )
I'm happy to give individual descriptions, but if it seems incompatible to your situation, I'm going to tell you. Anyone that has a Corgi will tell you, they are all different, and I know my dogs.

I have several adult Pembrokes to offer as Companions from my breeding program. All were initially raised in the house as family dogs and were house broke & are crate trained. Utd on worming & vaccinations & come with their registered papers. They are all under the age of 5. When I chose the name Fat Footed Companion Corgis ( because I love big fat Corgi feet !), I never knew that the Cardigan feet are as big as they are. These pups have BIG feet ! 4 weeks today & growing overnight ! Waiting List is forming.

The Cardashian Manor is open & ready for occupants. Installed the floor, gates & set up crates from the private run. Almost reminds me of an AirBnB for Corgis. Cherry & Charlie were quick to learn about the ramp to the doggy doors, and came right in for supper. They looked around as if to say ' is this OUR new house ? '. I think they approve !

Dolly's Cardigan litter are turning three weeks old today ! Their eyes are open, I think they can hear a little & those big feet are something else ! We celebrated with a pedicure all around ! They are completely different from the Pembroke pups , Cardigans definitely have a look all their own. Dolly is an excellent mom ! Have you chosen one to follow as they grow ? Two girls & two boys, I will be keeping one of the girls.

Baby Blue's Tuxedo Bears turn 14 days today ! Chubbiest of puppies, I see eyes opening too ! Three boys are up for grabs. She is the best Mama !

Baby Blue's Tuxedo Bears are 9 days today. I'm beginning to be able to tell them apart, especially the girl ! They are heavy as paperweights and as active as bugs ! Baby is the best Mom, last year she only had one to care for ( Toohey Margarita ) but she's handling 4 like a pro !

Juan Margarita turned one today and we celebrated with cupcakes for the crew. He is such a special little fella......I'm convinced that my precious Solo who left unexpectedly Oct 21,2021, picked out Juan to take over his ' job' of keeping me company. Juan is like a little old man, an ' old soul'.....he already knows what's required......he's calm and precise, he's the Playground Monitor and butts right in if there's any kind of a kerfuffle among the young crew of 8.....but will joyously steal a bone and high tail it off to a chair to chew it and lord over the peons. I treasure this little fella, , and enjoy every minute with him.
