This nice gelding, at some point in his life, had stitches on this lower rear leg area resulting in a rough scarred strip. I started using red light therapy to stimulate collagen and healthy blood cells and oxygen to break down that old tissue and heal this rough and sometimes sore spot. Today was the second time I treated this area and it’s incredible to experience how quickly the body will heal itself when you target a problem with knowledge and the right tools.

This evening we helped a great horse get some healing and relaxation with massage and a laser therapy treatment to help with some scare tissue and restrictions that have been causing discomfort.

First show of the year did not disappoint, even with all the rain we have been getting things came together and hard work always pays off. Finished our ranch classes; open ranch trail, open ranch riding, and open working western with a second place, two thirds, and two fourths. Here’s to a great show year!!
