Ending the Week on a High Note!

This week at our shelter, we are thrilled to share some amazing news:

Some dogs were adopted, others claimed and one special pup rescued who was adopted and later returned. Thanks to KD'S HUSKY Rescue, this sweet dog has been given yet another chance (hints his new name, Chance) at a brighter future. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment and compassion!

This is a painful reminder of the responsibilities that come with owning a pet. Pets rely on us for their safety, nourishment, and love. Abandoning them is never the answer. As Animal Control officers, we witness cruelty and neglect that no animal should ever endure. We take these cases very seriously and will not hesitate to file charges against those responsible for animal cruelty and neglect. This dog was in our custody for the past week and has now been rescued by the Santa Cruz Humane Society

We want to extend a huge thank you to Home Depot Nogales, AZ, for their incredible donation of wood, which is helping us build much-needed dog houses for our community!
