My smile,
Today as I was going through box after box DeeDee held up a beautiful bomber jacket and said...
"Do you like bomber jackets?"
"Who doesn't like bomber jackets?" Says I.
She tosses it to me and said: "Try it on. It was Paul's."
I tried it on and it fit nicely.
"It's yours if you want it" said she.
I wasn't about to turn down a jacket that belonged to Paul Sorvino given to me by his wife.
More time spent going through more things.
Now for a bit of a back story...
When I played the Opry last I wore one of the shirts you had made for me baby.
It is beautiful.
But I didn't realize that it had French cuffs.
Since I didn't know that I didn't have any cuff links.
So I did without thinking that one day soon I would get some cuff links.
Back to the story.
Later in the day yesterday I wen to my hotel and took off my new Bomber jacket when I noticed something that b the left front picket.
As soon as I brushed against it I knew exactly what it was.
"No" says I. "No way."
I reached into the pocket and pulled out a little black box.
The only thing in any pocket of this amazing jacket.
An elegant thing.
Something that certainly didn't belong in a military bomber jacket.
But I knew what it was.
I opened the box.
A beautiful pair of Paul's cuff links!

Thank you Dee Dee.
Thank you my Smile.
