Don’t know what exactly to say about these two. Other than they are a blessing. Been a rough year, and they have helped me through it all. Kept my mind busy and my heart still going, despite the holes it has in it. Love them both so much. Never thought in a million years that I would get to call two of the most amazing mustangs my own. Mikey (the bay) was a given to me when I needed him the most. Didn’t know it at the time, but that how things work out sometimes. I won River (the palomino) at a prison auction. The inmates take wild mustangs from Wyoming lands, gentle and train them to make them more adoptable. What an experience it was to get him, a roller coaster ride for sure that ended up being some amazing memories. They have taken up all my free time working with them and have given me so much to look forward to. ❤️

First time to White Sands NP. Celebrated our 20th anniversary. Seeing a new park was interesting and then Brad and I noticed a cloud that was looking interesting. Sure enough it dropped a few bolts. Such an unexpected treat.

Tornado! Nebraska has been good for storm photos, got some of my best ones there. Watched this go from a spinning supercell (next photo) to touchdown. The 3rd photo was taken directly overhead and shows the cloud it was originating from.

On our way home, spotted these two in a field in Utah. Need to go to Texas and look for some more to photograph!

Got a little catching up to do with pictures. Got to see this beautiful animal in April, just outside Grand Teton National Park. Lots of people think when they see a coyote in the park that they have seen a wolf. But after you’ve seen a wolf, you know when you have seen one. Their look is unmistakable.

We came to Wyoming to look for Grizzlies fresh out of hibernation while the snow was still on the ground. Of course found some. Was very special to see this family. Felicia was running down hills with the cubs and they all looked healthy and frisky. (Photos were taken from a legal pullout with rangers present)

We chose this rescue organization to donate the sticker profits to from our Etsy shop. Since Spirit hasn’t needed anything that we know of, and hopefully won’t, cause he has learned enough from his beautiful mama, we chose this rescue out of Idaho. They rescued and rehabbed a baby black bear out of the Tetons recently so they had a close enough connection to the park for us. Hopefully this can go to help more bears 🐻
