It's hard to believe that Berkley, who was one of the first puppies born in our care, is still waiting to find her forever home. 🥺 She has grown up surrounded by love and support in foster care, but it's now her turn to find a family to call her own. 🤞

Berkley is a playful and affectionate teen pup who loves to cuddle and play. She is full of energy and enjoys going for walks and wrestling with her fur friends, but she also loves to snuggle up with her human companions on the couch and watch TV. She is intelligent, obedient, and eager to please, making her a pleasure to train and a wonderful addition to any home. 🙌

Despite all her wonderful qualities, Berkley is STILL waiting for that special family to come along and give her the loving home she deserves. She has so much love to give and is just waiting for someone to give her a chance!

Maple is dog and kid friendly, crate trained, nearly fully potty trained (keeps a clean kennel and no accidents during the day when her humans are home!) She sits by the back door to be let outside and knows how to use a doggy door!! She is super smart and super sweet 🫶

Meet our newest medical case, Spunky. 🥺 This sweet girl was set to be euthanized due to an injury...so without an exam, without an x-ray, without knowing her upcoming medical cost, we jumped in to help. She was saved just an hour before her euthanasia appointment. 😓

Spunky was treated at our vet immediately and is recovering well! We are grateful for any and all support in paying her medical bill 🙏🙏 We have been hit with Parvo, heartworm, and now poor girl Spunky - every bit will help us continue our mission of saving lives!!

Berkeley is a super sweet girl when it comes to human snuggles, but loves play time and wrestling with her larger siblings! Berkeley absolutely melts for any attention she can get. Her little eye patch is always reels us in and she knows it!

Berkeley has been raised in a home with other dogs, a cat, and toddlers, and she absolutely does wonderful. They are learning the fundamentals of a healthy crate relationship, and are very eager to please which will make training a breeze!

This is Sailor 🤍 Her story is why we started OklaHOME Animal Rescue - to save those who had no one else.

Sailor was found days away from giving birth surrounded by dead puppies from a different mama's litter. Those puppies had died from Parvo, which rarely affects adult dogs…but Sailor also tested positive for Parvo. 💔

We immediately put our heads together - how can we possibly help a pregnant Parvo mama? Will the puppies instantly be fighting for their lives? How can we take this on, knowing all of the risks?

That conversation lasted five minutes. 😅 There was simply no one else for Sailor. She arrived 90 minutes later and is the sweetest - and biggest- mama we've ever seen.

This is why we rescue. This is why we started OklaHOME. Sailor would have died in the cold, and her puppies wouldn't have lasted a day. Despite everything against her, and us, we took her in without hesitation.

SPECIAL NEEDS BABY IN NEED OF RESCUE!! 🙏

Remi is a young adult male at a shelter and likely will not make it out anytime soon given that he is deaf!! We have had so many deaf dogs in our care and they are truly an inspiration to not allowing anything to hold you back. They learn sign language quickly and are constantly in tune with their humans, watching for signals or cues.

Mama Geraldene is ready for a foster home! 🙏 This gorgeous mama and her 4-week old babies need a safe space to crash and grow up finally feeling safe! We supply absolutely everything a foster might need to love on this family! 🫶

Geraldene kept her babies safe under a collapsing trailer in freezing temps....after being shot while pregnant. 😭 She deserves a home to feel safe in now that she has been cleared by our vet! She LOVES other dogs and literally smiles when you pet her 🥹

It’s $5 Friday! 🙏 We have FOUR heartworm-positive adults in our program needing treatment. 😫 Each dog will need ~$600 in heartworm treatment to give them the best chance at lasting health and success! 🙏🙏

💙 Sammy is fighting heartworm among a laundry list of other ailments.
💜 Coco escaped euthanasia with her puppies, THEN fought cancer, and NOW is having to undergo HW treatment. The "low exercise" requirement while HW+ goes against everything this little girl wants to do with her newfound freedom.
💜 Jett is also a mama of ours and her last piece of her long journey to adoption is HW treatment.
💜 Geraldine is our newest mama who was shot while pregnant and gave birth with a broken leg - heartworm is just one thing on her long list that we are addressing.

We need to raise ~$2,400 total to cover the medical costs for these three deserving dogs. EVERY bit helps and is tax-deductible!!
