Holland Lop Sales Policy

 PLEASE READ THIS FIRST

***Everyone is subject to our Sales Policy, even if you choose not to read it. Upon purchasing a rabbit from our rabbitry, all of the following will be agreed upon. This policy is in place to protect all parties involved, and especially our rabbits. As the breeders; we can change our rabbitry rules for certain circumstances.

 We are locat

ed in Norman, Oklahoma. Before reserving a rabbit, please make sure you are willing to travel here. We do not deliver rabbits, unless we offer, due to travel plans.

We are a closed Rabbitry and do not allow anyone to come to our home for the safety of our herd health, as well as privacy for our families.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your rabbit when it is 6-weeks-old. If you decide to cancel your purchase, your 50% non-refundable deposit will NOT be refunded, as it was given to hold that rabbit for you, which made it unavailable to other prospective buyers. The deposit must be paid within 24 hours of reserving your rabbit. If something unfortunate happens to your reserved rabbit before it is picked up from us, you will be given a choice of a refund, or putting that money towards another rabbit. We reserve the right to terminate a sale in which case the deposit will be refunded.

Once a rabbit is reserved, it must be picked up within one week of its wean date (8-weeks-old), unless other arrangements have been made. After the first week, boarding fees of $7/week will accrue and must be paid in advance. WAIT LIST: Please feel free to send us a message if you are interested in being put on our Wait List for future litters. We'll have new litters about every couple months. If you are on the Wait List you will be one of the first few to have priority on a new litter. You will need to respond with 24 hours of being contacted. This will give the other people on the Wait List plenty of time to make their selections before we offer the remaining bunnies to the public. If you don't respond within 24 hours, we'll move on to the next person on the wait list. We will not try to contact you twice if you don't respond to our original message. If you miss the 24 hour deadline, it is your responsibility to reach out to us and let us know that you're still interested in a rabbit. Please be sure to tell us your name and best way to reach you (Facebook Messenger, text or call). When you schedule a time to come pick up your rabbit, please be on time. If you can not meet at your scheduled time, please let us know ahead of time. We understand things come up, but out of respect for both of our schedules, please send us a Facebook message (to my personal page: Blair Robinson), and let us know what is going on. We will wait 10 minutes past pickup time. If you do not arrive within 10 minutes of your scheduled time, and have not contacted us, you forfeit the sale, any deposit made, and your rabbit. We will not be offering pedigrees for any of our rabbits. Our breeding stock is pedigreed, which we are happy to show you upon pick up. We might eventually start doing pedigrees, but at this time we are too busy. All rabbits are sold AS IS. There are no guarantees in reproduction, even if sold proven. We are NOT held responsible for an animals failure to reproduce. There will be NO replacements or refunds. Every rabbit will be thoroughly checked over by us, and is to the best of our knowledge, healthy and ready to go to their new home. All rabbits will also have their nails trimmed a few days prior to pick up. As a buyer you are responsible for checking the quality of the rabbit and health; by checking its nose, ears, teeth, eyes, s*x, toenails, and tail. We will do our best to give our honest opinion of the rabbit and state any faults we see, we cannot 100% guarantee that everything will be accurate, mistakes are easy to make. We do not guarantee the s*x of the rabbit. Mistakes happen all the time! It's also a bit challenging to accurately s*x a rabbit less than 12 weeks old. The rabbit is sold as a buck (boy) or doe (girl) to the best of our knowledge. If a rabbit becomes sick in your care, it is your responsibility to treat it and pay for vet bills. We are not held responsible for a rabbit’s death or illness. Each rabbit will come with a 24 hour health guarantee on everything except preventable trauma or stress. If your rabbit dies in those 24 hours, we will replace your rabbit. The rabbit must be brought back to us, so we can assess what the rabbit died from was something beyond your control. All rabbits that leave our rabbitry will be at least 8 weeks old. Nothing will leave younger than that. We accept Venmo, CashApp, and Facebook Pay for deposits. Cash can be paid for the remaining balance at pickup if you wish. Cash deposits are always welcome as well!

 They are PUREBRED Holland Lops.

*** All rabbits will receive a few days worth of transition feed (pellets only) with your purchase. This helps to minimize the stress of a new environment. Please mix the feed with whatever feed you purchase and feed to your rabbit in their first few days with you. We use Producer's Pride rabbit pellets from Tractor Supply. They also eat Alfalfa hay. It is recommended that you switch them from Alfalfa hay to timothy hay/grass once they're 6 months old and through most of their growth. Please wait to add fruit, vegetables, herbs, and treats to your rabbit's diet until they are at least 6 months old. Their digestive system can't handle these foods safely until then. It's recommended that you introduce a new food in small amounts to see how your rabbit reacts to them.

***** We highly recommend joining the Facebook group House Rabbits for Beginners if you plan on housing your rabbit in your home. They have an amazing amount of information, especially litter box set up/training and rabbit safe foods, to help you have the best possible relationship and success with your pet rabbit.

Please bring a pet carrier or box with holes in it, to transport your rabbit home in.

I just found out that rabbit manure is richer in nutrients than other animal manure! It also doesn't need to compost, it can go straight in the ground as soon as it's dry! 🥳🥰🐇🐰

Buttercup and Aspen, enjoying some time outside of their hutch. 🥰 Aspen jumped over the wall a few times and it was the CUTEST THING EVER. I just couldn't get a video of it. They will be 3 months old in a few days! 🥳 They were born 1 day apart, but Aspen carries the dwarf gene, so she's smaller than Buttercup. 💗 Excuse the drill noises in the background! 🤦‍♀️

Hello all! Welcome to the Grove Johnson-Robinson Urban Homestead page. We needed a page to post our egg availability and our rabbits. We recently started the journey to self-sufficiency and we've had a lot of fun in this crazy adventure. We plan on relocating in a year or two, to get more land so we can add cows, horses, ducks, quail, etc! Nathan would love to be COMPLETELY off grid, but we're still discussing that (lol). Please feel free to send our page a message if you have any questions!
