Yesterday we said goodbye to a beautiful soul, a sweet boy, a funny guy that did things on his terms.

He always greeted me at the door with a happy face and snuggles when he was my charge. He would walk off while I talked to him and forced me to follow him around the yard while I declared what a good boy he was and how handsome he was.

He was never so dismissive that I felt unloved but just enough that I knew I had to work for his affection.

He’s going to be missed tremendously but I’m grateful to have gotten to know him, love him, be loved by him and be trusted with his care.

I’m in love with my new friends. These boys will me getting a bath while Mom is away. I can’t wait.. need to pack my bathing suit for this one 😂
