Cat grooming is just as important as dog grooming. Generally speaking, cats should be groomed every 2-4 months. Though cats groom themselves, they need assistance grooming their back areas. Cat grooming also helps as it removes excess hair and dirt from their coat, which prevents matting and potential skin problems. Grooming also removes loose fur, which can be ingested and cause hairballs among other issues.
