I wanted to hop on here to tell everyone to wish Paige and Cairo good luck at their grooming competition this weekend! She has been working so very hard and I can’t wait to see it all pay off.

Paige will be answering all phone calls and texts from clients on Tuesday May 21st when she is back in the salon.

🚨🚨🚨 We had a poodle party! 🚨🚨🚨

This past Sunday, The Paw Parlor hosted a poodle seminar taught by the wonderful Amber Scott for local groomers and out of state groomers!

Continuing education is so crucial in our industry. There are no regulations or set standards for how groomers should do their job, so we strive to always learn from the best!

Poodle trims may be an acquired taste, but we also discussed how a lot of this can relate to everyday grooming on your pets!

We just want to thank Amber one last time for coming to Ohio for this. We’d also like to thank Botaniqa for sending shampoos to give to all in person attendees!

🚨Mysterious respiratory illness🚨

Good evening, everyone. I wanted to take the time to post about the mysterious illness that has been going around. To my knowledge as of right now (this could always change) there hasn’t been any reported cases in Ohio that I’ve seen.

With holiday traveling being prominent, who knows if we will see any cases anytime soon.

My advice to you is to make sure your furry loved ones are up to date on their respiratory vaccinations like bordetella and canine influenza and to limit their exposure to this illness.

In the salon, we are continuously disinfecting kennels, tubs and tools. There is also an air purifier running during all salon business hours.

***If your pet seems to be feeling off or having any health concerns, please contact us so we can reschedule you to keep all pets safe.***

We understand that sometimes pets can be asymptomatic, but this is our approach to be as cautious as possible.

I recently learned from Reyna’s father that September is the month for Childhood Cancer Awareness!

Because of this, I want to host a very low cost nail trimming event to raise money for Reyna and her family. They’ll need help with living expenses and treatment while taking some time off work to be their for their daughter.

Due to cancellations at surrounding grooming salons, we are getting a high volume of calls and texts from owners inquiring about services and scheduling.

Because of this, please consider scheduling your next grooming appointment at pickup.

We are booking a few weeks out and we want to make sure we can fit everyone in! Scheduling your next appointment before leaving will make sure you’re able to.

Please also keep this into consideration when contacting us. I am trying to return all phone calls and texts as they come in.

Good morning! We have been getting a lot of inquires about “just nail trims.”

We always offer nail trims if your pup isn’t ready for a bath or groom just yet! Typically, nail trims are appointment only, just like all other services we offer.

On Sunday, May 21st, we will be doing any and all walk-in nail trims for only $15! Normally, it’s $20, so you’ll save a few bucks that day!

Where: The Paw Parlor
When: Sunday, May 21, 2023
Time: 10am to 2pm

• What’s included: Nail trimming, nail filing (as long as pet tolerates the dremel) and ear cleaning.

• What’s expected from you: please have your pet’s rabies shot records in hand when showing up! If you are unable to provide rabies information, we will have to muzzle for our safety. 🖤

*we do accept emailed proof of shot records on your phone from your vet!*

Did you know we offer color services? We use a dog safe hair dye called Crazy Liberty. Colors usually stay in the hair for a few weeks up to a few months. This can vary depending on how often your dog is washed and how thick their coat is.

Annie was such a good sport for getting her new sunset colored streak for summer time! ☀️🐾 💜
