Greatness is in the eyes of the beholder. When dogs have the freedom to be a dog, process their environment and feelings they are more authentically bonded than when they are controlled. Trust is stronger because of this freedom.

Teaching a “place” command can be so beneficial in many different scenarios!

Here I am using it with Rocky, a beautiful 5 month old Border Collie, who gets a little over stimulated during play with the other dogs; as most young puppies do! When this would happen it was good for him to have a space that was all his own, to regain his composure and relax before heading back into the play session!

A basket full of 6 day old mastiff puppies!

Can’t believe it has been 3 years, since the boys helped me with some puppy handling!

They say it takes a village…and this is true for puppies too! I was overjoyed by all the help the neighborhood kids were with socializing these beautiful babies! They were all such a big help, but mostly it was a joy to get to teach them about proper handling and communication with the pups!
