Hello friends! With much sadness I have to announce that one of my little best friends has recently suffered the loss of his person and is in need of a new forever home. I have been grooming this boy for at least 5/6 years (before I had my own business even) and can vouch for his sweetness. You would never know his age as he acts like he’s about 2. I’m hoping one of my wonderful customers or someone close will adopt him so he can remain with me as his groomer. As you know we are not accepting new customers at this time so his schedule is already set until August. Please reach out to me to inquire about him! We have about a week to get him in a home 💜🥺🙏🏻

I still have some healing to do but I am starting to groom I’m taking two small dogs a day. Unfortunately I can’t do big dogs yet because I still have an open wound and I don’t want it to split open trying to pick them up and put them on the table . Good evening everyone! I just wanted to let you know I will be on vacation July 15th - 24th to visit my oldest in Texas. I have openings the week before if your critters need grooming around that time. Usually when I take vacation I get backed up for at least 2 to 3 weeks . Have a great summer yall!

I’m currently looking into a way that customers can book their own appointments either through here on Facebook or a program that I can purchase. Thought this might be a good idea if any other of my animal friends are currently using a program like this that they like and is user-friendly please let me know.
I think this would be very helpful since I am a one show operation lol instead of everyone having to wait for me to get back to them or us going back-and-forth on what days work best for you. I think it might be easier if there is a calendar that you can pick and choose what days that you want and times.

Just one of the few things that I’m making changes for. I am going to be offering some extra add-ons that will be extra like teeth brushing, special products, spa packages with higher end shampoos, flea treatments, pad treatments, princess spa day package, a stud muffin spa package, ect. It’s in the works. Currently waiting on some samples so I can pick which products I like so my lucky dogs at home get to be the guinea pigs 🤣

So big things coming! Also my last price increase was January 2022. I’ve been in contact with 6 grooming shops in the past few weeks and everybody’s going up because of product prices, homeowners insurance increases cost of living, everything‘s up and unfortunately I just can’t afford to be cheap. And let’s be honest I take very good care of your pets. Having been a veterinary technician before a groomer I’m really good at seeing things and letting you know when somethings wrong or doesn’t look right. Everyone’s pets are one on one. That’s pretty special. With that being said that takes time which means that’s less dogs that I can take in a day.
I will be price matching the shops in our area. Starting March 13 Monday these will be my prices.

Good evening y’all, hope everyone had a wonderful day. Mine was crazy and backed up as usual.

So I’ve had some questions and concerns regarding grooming. My husband‘s busy season Will be starting up soon which means he won’t be home until close to 8 PM every night. I really need to stick to a Monday through Friday 9 to 5 schedule in order to balance the business, the kids, dinner which I always forget to pull some thing out🤦‍♀️ My 9 dogs which need love and attention as well and of course and Elayna and Jasper‘s extracurricular activities after school.

I would love a day or two off at least once every two weeks because working 2 to 3 weeks straight is running Me thin. My husband has gotten to the point where he hands me my coffee in the morning and walks away lol.

I am usually pretty good at texting people back but I had some upset people this past weekend while we took a four day camping trip and I didn’t respond to anybody because we were out in the sticks. So, if you call, text, or message me on Facebook for an appointment I will get back to you by the next business day. I am trying not to respond to anyone on the weekends only because so many people text me throughout the weekend and I’m usually on my phone constantly replying to everyone and ignoring my family.

My schedule is going to be changing come August when Elayna starts school full-time. I will be grooming Monday through Friday 9am -1:30 with a few afternoon appointments. I have been trying to cut out Saturdays for over a year and I am just too nice I guess and can’t say no, I need to though so no more Saturday appointments. I am going to continue every other Sunday house calls for now but I may be stopping that come august. Texting me is still the best way to get a hold of me for an appointment only because it’s just me so I either have my hands in the tub, the loud dryer going or scissors in my hands so it makes it really hard to be on the phone.  thank you for understanding and if you don’t I know of quite a few really good groomers in the area that I can recommend you to. I hate doing it, killing me writing this but the cost of groceries isn’t coming down, taxes, insurance ect as you all know but I have to look out for my family as well. I have called petsmart, petco, and some of the smaller mom n pop shops in PC & NP and I’m still cheaper than all of them. Your babies will always get compassion, love and respect from me. That will never change. No cages, ever and they are the only ones I work on while they are here.

Bows & Bananas are available on request and complimentary.

I will continue to provide housecalls for nail trims every other Sunday. It’s $10 for nail trim per dog or cat and a $10 housecall fee. Pocket pets are $5

Meet our gorgeous bonded pair of purebred Great Danes, Nevaeh (female; black) and Braxton (male; harlequin). While these two have had amazing lives so far, they have a very sad story that we need to share.

Nevaeh and Braxton belonged to a woman who was not just involved in the rescue community, but lived and breathed rescue. She personified the rescue person that we all aspire to be. Unfortunately, she lost her life unexpectedly, leaving behind these two, as well as 3 other of her personal dogs, and other fosters. Love4Paws was asked to step in to help because of our experience with Danes, and one of the members of our group actually adopted Neveah to her previous Owner when she was a puppy. So these two amazing dogs now find themselves in the position of not only mourning the loss of the only Momma they’ve ever known, but now having to find a new home to live the rest of their lives in.

Nevaeh is 4 1/2 and Braxton just turned 4, but they haven’t just lived their entire lives together; they are truly bonded. Braxton followed Nevaeh’s every lead.
