3 TIPSY CATS CHICKEN WINGS
Ingredients:
2 lbs. Chicken wings
3 Tbsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. kosher salt
½ tsp. fresh ground pepper
1 8 oz. jar 3 TIPSY CATS Jelly
1 clove garlic (finely chopped)
¼ tsp. ground cayenne pepper.
1 tsp. (canola, vegetable or olive oil)
Directions:
1. Place chicken wings in a bowl with a lid or gallon Ziploc bag with baking powder, salt and ground pepper. Shake well to coat.
2. Pre heat oven to 400° F, remove wings and place on a steel rack inside a baking pan and bake uncovered for 50 minutes.
3. In a one quart sauce pan, mix 3 TIPSY CATS Jelly, garlic, cayenne pepper and oil. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat; reduce heat. Simmer 5 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick. Remove from heat.
4. Remove chicken when done from oven. Place in a heat safe bowl, pour half of the sauce in the bowl with the wings and toss to coat. Return chicken to baking pan and bake an additional 8 to 10 minutes or until no longer pink in the center.
5. Serve chicken wings with remaining sauce.
3 TIPSY CATS CROCK POT JELLY MEATBALL APPETIZER
Ingredients:
1 ½ pounds of frozen prepared, bite-sized meatballs, thawed. I use Costco (Kirtland) brand.
2 8 oz. jars of 3 TIPSY CATS Jelly.
1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce Heinz (I use Franks RedHot Sweet Chili Sauce).
1 20 oz. Dole Pineapple Chunks in 100% pineapple juice. (Optional)
Directions:
1. Partially bake meatballs in oven.
2. Transfer meatballs to crock pot.
3. Drain juice from pineapple chunks.
4. Combine in crock pot with meatballs, Jelly, Chili sauce and pineapple chunks.
5. Cook in crock pot on LOW for 3 to 4 hours.
6. If you like a thicker sauce, remove about ¼ cup of sauce from crock pot 30
minutes before finished and mix in 1 Tbsp. corn starch return to crock pot and
stir till mixed move to high setting finish cooking.
3 TIPSY CATS BRIE IN PUFF PASTRY
Ingredients:
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
1/4 cup 3 TIPSY CATS Jelly
1 round (13.2 ounces) Brie cheese
1 large egg
1 tablespoon water
Directions:
1. Roll puff pastry into a 14-in. square. Spread 3 TIPSY CATS Jelly into a 4-1/2-in. circle in center of pastry; place cheese over jelly. Fold pastry around cheese; trim excess dough. Pinch edges to seal. Place seam side down on ungreased baking sheet. Beat egg and water; brush over pastry.
2. Cut the trimmed pastry pieces into decorative shapes and place on top; brush with egg mixture if desired. Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
3 TIPSY CATS CREAM CHEESE APPETIZER
Ingredients:
1 8 oz. block of cream cheese
1 8 oz. Jar 3 TIPSY CATS jelly
Directions:
1. Place cream cheese on a plate
2. Place half of jelly in microwave safe bowl and microwave for 8 seconds, and then pour over cream cheese.
3 Serve with club or Ritz crackers or Nilla vanilla wafers.
Note: Depending on the jelly you choose, you can add things on the plate such as (sliced strawberries with Strawberry Margarita jelly, Blackberries with Blackberry Wine jelly, small slices of Irish soda bread with Irish Cream Coffee Cocktail jelly, etc..)
