Join us for a unique and educational meet and greet dedicated to the complete care of your horse! We would like to introduce you all to some of the equine professionals who we collaborate with on a regular basis in order to keep your horses happy, healthy and everyone performing at their best!

Date: Saturday, May 10th
Time: 11: 00am
Location: Quonset O Club, North Kingstown, RI
Lunch will be provided.

This exclusive event brings together a range of equine professionals offering insight into:
~alternative therapies
~importance of trailer inspection and repairs
~mental mastery for the rider and coach

Speakers include:
Dr. Jess Macho- acupuncture and chiropractic
Amanda Eusebio- laser therapy
Erin Barbato- massage therapy
Jenny Cournoyer- magnawave
Torey Roderick- mental mastery
Mark Fowler- trailer repair & modification
and Dr. Enda Currid will be our master of ceremonies for the afternoon!

Tickets are $30 per person and must be paid prior to the event. Payments can be made through the Ocean State Equine venmo account or by contacting the office with your credit/debit card. Just a reminder for everyone who registered for our second lunch and learn, it is tomorrow, March 9th at Angelos Palace Pizza in Cumberland. (Which is also daylight savings! Spring is on its way!) There is an entrance on the side of the building for the event room. We start at 11:00 tomorrow. We are excited to see you all! 🐴

Come join our team! Unfortunately one of our amazing receptionists is relocating! 🙈 Which leaves us with a job opening in our front office. We have a full time position available for an administrative assistant. We care for a wide range of patients from the backyard pony to the professional athlete. Our daily goal is exceptional client and patient care. We are looking for a person who will be a committed team-player and has excellent customer service skills.
Primary duties include but are not limited to:
answering 5 phone lines (up to 100 calls/day in busiest seasons)
transferring communications to appropriate parties through emailing and/or texting
scheduling appointments
pro-actively assisting clients by:
-facilitating communications with veterinary staff
-triaging appropriately
-maintaining patient files
-greeting clients at the clinic
-filling prescription requests
-admission/discharge paperwork
-scanning documents and working with PDF files
-working with practice software and cloud-based document storage systems

The successful candidate must:
-have significant equine experience
-have at least a basic knowledge of RI, and bordering Mass and CT geography
-enjoy people
-have computer skills including Word and Excel
-have the ability to concentrate in a busy environment
-have experience working in an office setting

Salary is commensurate with experience

Our office will be closed tomorrow due to the snow storm ❄️ If you have an appointment booked for Thursday, we will contact you to reschedule when we are back in the office on Friday.
