Also just in case you’re ever wondering what kind of loving the dogs get after their grooms this is a prime example. These dogs aren’t a money sign in our eyes they’re truly another 4 legged member of the family. What’s better than a doggy pile full of clean and happy dogs 🐕 🛁

It’s been a hairy week at the shop 😂 Axel and Gus would surely agree that they feel much better after a good deshed bath!

It’s always a good day for a deshed bath! Even in the cooler weather it’s really important to keep the coat healthy and get prepared for that winter coat to stay healthy.
We are already booking for the holidays which is crazy to even think about. If you want to make sure you are secured for an appointment please send us a message.
Also I just want everyone to know I will never charge fees for late shows or no shows. I do appreciate if you’re on time but life happens and as a parent, business owner and human I understand things happen and life gets ahead of us. I won’t punish anyone for that!

Murphy and the all seeing eyes!

I want to share something I hear a lot, “you need to raise your prices” and as much as it’s so nice to hear my work is worth more to everyone than what I charge I am truly not here for the money. Even with the world we live in I’m not doing this to be a millionaire. Grooming has been a hobby, a love, a passion. After many years of being in the military, and outside personal factors I have seen so many dark places and dark times, but nothing makes me feel happier than being around these dogs. They bring so much light to my day that it’s actually priceless to me and I should be paying them 😂, with all that being said don’t expect me to raise prices or try to price gouge. I’m here because I love my career and I love these animals.

It was a happy Westie day the other day, one of my favorite little breeds.
I will be out of town for a few days this week, so if you need an appointment I’ll be in Monday through Wednesday and back Sunday. Then I’ll be booking for about a week out after that, it has been busy and I am so grateful! Please secure the appointment time you want or need because I can’t guarantee those times will be open long

I just want to ease everyone’s mind with any new scratching, licking or itching you may have noticed in your furry friends! Ragweed pollen is extremely high right now, ragweed is not only an allergen that can cause hay fever in people but it’s really a big allergen to the dogs and animals who spend time in the grass.

Another happy day in the shop! My co worker Kayla is also offering photo sessions for the pups while they’re here! Togo and Hazel were the first to try it and let’s just say, the smiles were priceless. $15 for 4 photos

Let’s talk about shedding, I know no one wants to be vacuuming every 25 minutes or sweeping up dust bunnies all day so let me give some tips and advice. - [x] Why is my dog shedding so much and will it ever stop?! Weather has a very direct impact on dogs and their many different coats, the slightest temperature change can mess up any shed cycle. Out here the hot weather and constant change of humidity and rain can sometimes delay shedding and then bam it’s sunny and dry and your dog is blowing their coat like crazy. It’s normal and although annoying can be slowed down with consistent brushing and baths. Groomers can offer extra help getting deep into the undercoat and getting all that loose hair out to cut the shedding down and a 4 week bath schedule can usually cut your shedding down by half. I promise it can be slowed down and all though it will never really stop all shedding it truly can be reduced to make life a little easier. I truly appreciate every single one of you and the reviews everyone has been leaving on google, my family is in Boston so it’s not often I get to see them, but I have built such a fantastic family through this career and your love and support and am forever grateful.

Today was my first day in the shop and it was such a great day, it’ll take time to get in a rhythm but I’m so excited to be given this opportunity and thankful for all the people who let me love their babies
