I visited Dezy Sunday at his new home in NJ. Dezy sporting the zebra haircut to allow his mane to grow out and looking slimmer. He is already getting adjusted to his new mom.

Took Dezy at Maybury state park today. First time since last year. He needs to get back in shape, physically and mentally. We went slow and controlled. He was worried a couple times early on but relaxed as we progressed. I feel that humming a song helps him. We did some trot but mostly walked. About 5 miles and he was tired.

Had him x-ray on all four hooves to see and get a baseline of his feet. All good inside. He stood on the wooden blocks like a champ.

Lungeing at liberty. He is getting over his abcess....now we get back to work.

Another stroll on a warm sunny Sunday to walk through puddles and hear new sounds.

Having a check on tarp and he is still fine with it.

Getting fat so we went for a walk.

I thought I would ride today and work on strength. But noooo. Dezy hurt his rear hock (maybe got kicked or something). Vet came out ($$Ouch). Gave hime benamine and to me to get cold water on it. So i watered his hock for a while. 😩
