We see an uptick in abandoned dog cases in the summer, mainly because many move, go on vacation, and don't take their pets with them, or decide they are inconvenienced. She was discovered at a wildlife sanctuary, where she followed a group of peacocks to seek shelter during a thunderstorm. Lainey has been stuck waiting for her forever home since September. SEPTEMBER!! Sweet and calm. Lainey was fostered by a kind person but could not keep her her forever. Attn. husky lovers! Melissa is one of the most beautiful huskies that have ever come into the shelter (unfortunately for her!!). She is very gentle! She adores other dogs. Loves to be around people. Bella is fabulous!’ Poor Bella was found tied to a tree in front of a veterinarians office in Texas. Apparently someone could no longer take care of her and was desperate to get her into the proper hands to help her. Very sad! She is EXTREMELY WELL BEHAVED!! Skye is fly! This pretty girl was found out and about with another doggy friend that was microchipped. You could tell they loved each other! Her friend's owner was found, but not hers, and now she’s all alone in the world sitting in a cold, dark kill shelter in Texas.

Indo is ridiculously friendly!! Just crazy about kids! Loves everyone including cats. He’s incredibly huggable and sweet to every living thing. He has no idea he’s supposed to guard livestock. He’d really rather watch tv on the couch. He loves being groomed, taking baths, and playing with children and other dogs.

Angel is a 3-year-old female Siberian Huksy/Pomeranian mix. She’s not called Angel for nothin’!! The finder named her that because she is so precious and perfect!
