Who is looking for a very happy dog who will most likely greet you with a kiss? This is two year old Benson who has been with us just over two months. He is dog selective, which means he likes some but not all dogs. He ignores the cats when we bring him to meet them but just loves people of all ages. He has met many families with kids about 8-12 and he had a blast playing fetch with them. Let's all get together and see is we can find Benson a home for the holidays.

Four year old Kiko is coming up on six months with us. He is a super playful dog, loves walking on our trails, he is a stuffy lover and will often be found throwing a ball around his room. So far he ignores the cats and likes most dogs he meets.

More photo's coming but we couldn't wait. You need to meet Pumpkin and Spice, brothers through and through. These 12 week old boys look so much alike other than their eye color. Who needs twin boys?

Have you met Fernando yet? With a face like his you wouldn't forget him if you did.
Fernando is one of the most playful dogs you'll meet. He will spend hours playing with his toys, chasing a ball around his room and if you're willing taking long walks. He is a big boy coming in just 80 pounds but even at his size he is a very gentle boy. If you like big dogs you really do want to meet Fernando, maybe he can be the BFF you've always wanted. And at this tie his adoption is FREE!

All of our shelter dogs each have a Kuranda bed to sleep on and they love them. Our resident cats in our big adoption rooms have multiple shelves to sleep on, yes their spoiled. While the cats in our isolation and treatment room also have Kuranda beds. We'd like to add a few of the double or larger to our cat sculpture room, the cats think their a blast. If you can donate one the cats would appreciate it.

Isn't Chimera stunning? This two year old young lady came in with her kittens and will soon be ready to be spayed. She raised her kids well, now let's give all our attention to Chimera and find her a home before the New Year. Will Chimera be bringing in the New Year with you?

We need your help asap.
Saffron has been with us nine months, we never have dogs here that long.
Her owner passed away and some how she ended coming to us as a stray.
She has gone through a lot and we need to find her a home.
When she first meets you she will most likely bark at you, but once we introduce you to her she will be kissing you in no time. We do not think she should go to a home with young children or cats. Please consider adopting Saffron ot share her post.

Two year old Livia is the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. If she had her way she'd spend her whole day at your feet getting belly rubs. When she got up she'd reward you with kisses.
Livia is shy around other dogs but does warm up, has no clue what a cat is and hides from them and loves every person, that's every single person in the world. LOL

As you all know it rained all day yesterday, and sad to say it rained cats once again. About 4 pm, during the rain, as we were walking the last of the dogs once again some person dumped these three cats at our back door.
What does this mean to the shelter?
We now have to call two families who have been on our wait list, who have appointments to bring in three cats and now we have to postpone their appointments.
Is that fair, heck no.
We are getting through our cat wait list for admission as shelter cats get adopted. These new cats are going to require three cages. That is a lot of space.
Please, please, call to go on our wait list and please be patient until we call you. You are not the only ones needing our help. We only have so much space to house cats and dogs and are doing the best we can.
If you are the one who dumped these cats in the rain it's time you donate some cash for their care. With these new cats you have now duped six cats. Shame on you.
