Help Us Keep Our Doors Open For The Animals With Nowhere Else to Go
At Yellow Brick Road Rescue (YBRR) NJ, every cat curled into a soft blanket… every tail that wags with relief… every animal who sleeps peacefully after knowing nothing but chaos — that’s why we do what we do. And this Giving Tuesday, we’re asking for your help to keep doing it.
Our mission has always been simple: to find good homes for the abandoned, unwanted, and forgotten animals in our community. But behind every joyful adoption photo is a story of survival — of medical care, late nights, heartbreak, and healing. We are proud of how many animals we've rescued this year. Proud of every life saved, every match made, every family that grew because of a cat or dog we believed in. But we want to do more. We need to do more. This next year, we hope to double our impact. To say “yes” to more urgent medical cases. To care for more street cats who’ve never known safety. To keep going — even when it feels like the odds are stacked against us. But we can’t do it alone. Every animal who walks through our doors receives complete, top-to-tail care. We never cut corners when it comes to their health, their comfort, or their futures. We treat them like family — because to us, they are.
And right now, our family needs your support. The truth is, this year has been hard. Donations are down. Costs are up. We’ve had to stretch every dollar farther than ever before — and still, we show up. Still, we answer every call. Still, we say yes to animals no one else will take. Because that’s what we’re here for.
Today, on this Giving Tuesday, we’re asking you to stand with us. To help us end this year on a hopeful note — and start the next one with the strength to save even more lives.
