*INFORMATIVE POST*
Behind this door and many doors across the country, workers at animal rescues, shelters and dog wardens offices hear the whines and cry’s of a dog or cat being scared and missing its so called “family”. With the Holidays coming up and many people looking to get new animals as presents whether it be a cat or dog, please remember that any animal takes a lot of time, money, effort and patience! People seem to forget that the cute little fluffy kitten or puppy will not stay little forever and it takes a lot of work to care for them! Too many times, we see dogs being dumped and then when placed in our kennels we have to endure hearing the whines and cry’s of the dog due to it being in an unknown place, scared, missing its so called “family”, or being aggressive towards us since we are not the “pack” that they are familiar with!! Across America, shelters are being overrun with stray cats/dogs so please take the time to consider all of the work and time that goes into an animal before making a split second decision to get one as a gift this holiday season!!!
