What is better than no leash time? It’s no leash time with your little shelter brother! Flop and Mel just running around the shelter yard having a good time with no restraints! Oh how we wish this was an all day reality for them! But still we wait on someone to see them and want them! Flop is the bigger boy. He’s neutered, he’s cute, he rarely has accidents in his kennel, he gets along with his shelter buddies, and he would make an awesome BFF! Mel is the smaller one and he is the cutest little ball loving boy! Mel loves his shelter friends and tries to do what they do! But he loves to play fetch and he’s good at it. Well - it happened! Something we prayed wouldn’t! But it did! Alfie - as of today - has been with us for TWO YEARS! We guess God has a special plan for him because we have prayed endlessly for this boy to get a home before his two year shelterversary! Alfie is a Plott Hound MIX who loves to run and play. He gets along good with his shelter friends and walks really good on a leash! He is about 2 1/2 years old and is a very good boy! His adoption fee is $50. This boy doesn’t need much. Just a big ole yard to run in, a warm place to sleep, his breakfast and supper, his treats, and most importantly- a home of his own! Two years is a LONG time behind bars for committing no crime other than having an irresponsible person in his life - 2 1/2 years ago!

“Do Nut” you see yourself taking me home with thee!! - Mel

Our little Mel did not take too kindly about his shelter mom trying out the donut pillow for a photo shoot! In the end he gave in but he was not too happy about it! We’re just trying anything we can think of to draw attention to this sweet boy to get him adopted! He is a cur mix, about 5 months old, good with his shelter friends, LOVES to play fetch and NEEDS a home! Our precious little Jessie has left the building! She has a 6 year old little that has fallen in love with her so we know that she is in her element! Jessie ADOPTED!!!
