So just a little update on our situation!!! We finally started moving into the house Thursday!! We are loving our home and have been slowly replacing the items we lost during the flood/hurricane. We have officially replaced all our big items such as furniture, beds, appliances and that sort of thing. We are very happy to be in our own space. Staying in a hotel for an extended period isn’t fun. For those who have asked if we need anything still we have an Amazon wish list of things we still need to get or things we want for the house.
I want to send out a huge thank you to our wonderful friends who have helped us bet all this done. A special thank you to Renee Crowson Langley, Mike Langley, Bearen Bates, Courtney Bates for helping so much out here and for listening to me laugh, cry and for keeping me sane during this stressful time.
We have had so many friends be there for us and help us out I can’t thank you all enough!!! I hope to have a house warming party and bbq for everyone once we get unpacked and settled in!!

We are hoping to be in the new house in the next two weeks!! They are supposed to to come do the a/c next Tuesday and hopefully will get the rest of me little stuff done between now and then. We already have power, water and sewer hooked up. We are so ready to be in our own house. Living in a motel isn’t fun or convenient what so ever.
🥰 thank you to everyone who has prayed for us, helped us, sent us things off our wish list and checked on us. We greatly appreciate every one of you and everything y’all have done to make this transition easier.

UPDATE:
So here’s a positive update on our situation 🙏🏽
Our house is due to be finished around the 22nd of August. We will have the power, water and septic hooked up hopefully by the end of that weekend. We will do a final walk through with the builders and contractors same let them know if there’s anything that didn’t meet our expectations. After that walk through we should be able to start moving in to our new house!! I’m so happy i literally cried when I got the call today!!
Please continue to share our story, and keep us in your prayers as this has been tough on all of us.
