Basil is a Golden Retriever, female located in NJ. She is 21 months old and 50 lbs. She is an active dog who loves to run and play tug of war, her favorite is fetching a ball. Basil is a fun, vivacious dog full of curiosity. She is up to date with her shots and is spade. She loves long walks, behaves well on a leash and is crate trained. Eager to learn, she requires additional training. She is extremely food motivated. Basil has a super silky coat and is extremely affectionate, she is a super-snuggler and is a wonderful companion. She does well with other dogs but would probably do well in a single dog household. She is a super chewer and requires room to run and exercise.

The previous owner is surrendering due to employment changes that keep him from the house for long hours.

A Mom and her seven puppies who were left at an abandoned ma*****na farm in Barstow, CA are being picked up tomorrow.
They seem to be German Shepherd mixes and are about 4 months old.

💔We have some very sad news 💔
Our Ruben has passed away near the age of 13.
Ruben was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer over 6 months ago, underwent surgery and was given as little as one week to live. He spent his last 6 months going for long walks, working by sitting at his bay window watching over the “castle” or the outside deck, running around/ patrolling the yard, lifeguarding at the pool and of course getting tons of love. He had a special personality and was very loving. But he was Always working…sniffing things and “checking” them out. We called him a Police officer/ Customs Agent. Anything or anyone coming into the house had to be “cleared” by Ruben. He was even an honorary blue belt/ spokesman at Silver Fox BJJ, his uncle’s school. Ruben rarely napped during the day. He was always running from the window to another window or door to make sure the “castle” was secure. He was always happy and wagging his tail. His bright & energetic personality earned him the nickname “Sun”.
We will miss our Sunshine boy very much...
