We have FIVE squares left to sell out our Super Bowl board, benefitting Partners With Paws Of Lorain County, Inc., which is a "pay it forward" rescue. In other words, benefitting everyone! Mae. The face of complete despair. 3 times this month, her little heart has been broken. 3 times someone different spent time with her, loved on her & each said they wanted Mae to join their family, 3 times....no one showed up for her on adoption day… not one of the three kept their promise. Mae is devastated, wonders what she did wrong & if there will ever be a family that will take her home & love her forever, she’s been waiting for almost a year. She’s a 2-3 year old 55 lb. chocolate potbellied sweet girl, good with kids of all ages, likes walks, loves toys, crate trained and loves toys. She’s gentle, she loves affection, she’s chunky, and she loves toys. Mae loves boy dogs, loves toys, is a little picky about her doggie girlfriends so a meet & greet date will be needed. She gets very excited when she’s first out of her kennel, you would be too if you spent all day, every day in there. She’s a highly energetic zoomies girl initially, but calms down and becomes a complete love bug. She knows some basic obedience, loves toys, likes to explore outside, walks nice on a leash, keeps her kennel clean but may need some reminders when she first gets home until she learns the routine. We are unsure how she is with cats. Mae is such an amazing girl; she was chosen to spend the day at the library at Christmas time listening to the kids sing and got lots of love and affection. She is starving for more and a family of her own that won’t let her down, again. Can you please help mend Mae’s broken heart and find her a furever home?? Guy Smiley got his name thanks to his adorable signature grins! And his funny smiles reflect his earnest, goofy personality.

Guy Smiley is a derpy galoot with a sweet and sensitive side. He's a silly, engaging dog who is consistently entertaining. When he's excited to see another dog or person, he busts out big wiggly play bows. He also likes to take breaks to do a funny dance and scratch himself on bushes and branches. He can go from hilarious zoomies to snuggle-mode very quickly.

Guy Smiley has moments of shyness with handling at first, but he warms up quickly and shows his affectionate side, really leaning in for the scritches. He knows how to sit and lay down, and seems housebroken. He is a beefy boy who can be strong on leash when he finds an enticing smell, but he is nicely attentive to his people too.
