As an AKC judge since 2006, Philip now spends most of his time in the show dog world, breeding and showing Doberman Pinschers at Phillmar Dobermans.

Huge congratulations to GCHS. Macaco's Preston winning the Regional Doberman Specialty (entry over 200)held before the Doberman National under Judge Ms. Sioux Forsyth- Green. Preston is owned by Hector Farias, Alicia Garcia, Robyn Noll Sparks and Brock Sauls. Preston is sired by "StatSon" GCHS Phillmar v Velo So Good To Be Me CD ROM (bred by Alison N. McDonald & myself). The best of breed and Best of opposite s*x were both sired Phillmar Dobermans! This is the 4th Regional won by Phillmar breeding (2 bred by Phillmar, 2 sired by Phillmar dogs)

Sydnie, Aka Phillmar Something To Talk About, earned a Group 2 on her first trip to Groups! I am so excited & grateful, it’s been a great weekend…. finishing with a 3 pt major (Best of Winners) on Thursday at the Speciality, Best of Breed & Group 2 today. 🎉 First, thank you Judge Sharon Newcomb for Sydnie’s BOB as a move up & to Judge Darryl Vice for her very first group placement! I am eternally grateful to her breeder, Philip Martin for entrusting Sydnie to me. If one can have two heart dogs in a lifetime, she is one of them🐾♥️🐾.
