Here are the first bunch of Novice XC riders - we are looking at a 12:45 start WHICH IS 30 MINUTES ahead of schedule
We are also aiming to run at 90 second intervals - SO
30 riders should take approx 45 minutes 👌🏻

Jog / Dressage Info for our FEI Event:

1* will jog Thursday morning 8-9am followed by the test ride - some dressage will take place on Thursday, concluding Friday

2* competitors will jog Friday morning 8-8:30 followed by the test ride - all 2* dressage will run Friday

Ride times / final schedule for horse trials will be available soon as will YEH / FEH ride times

At last! We were finally able to purchase the Aerator that so many of our Eventing community had generously contributed towards... with some help from Mark McCleerey and Will Whiddon. It will be put to good use in the Florida Horse Park for our big event next week and back through the summer to help with the pasture improvement program.
Thank you all so much for your patience and your contributions. 👏🏼👌

To all our FEH / YEH competitors - please take some time to read about the competition structure. SOME THINGS HAVE CHANGED

Notably, conformation is now only to be scored at Championships / Dressage attire is ‘relaxed’ at qualifying competitions & more XC fences have been added to the Jumping phases!

This is Courtney. She came to our event at the horse park this weekend with her nurse. She had been been unable to touch a horse before but after I drove her around the XC course she got to meet Ementrude. They bonded immediately. Courtney said it was the best day of her life. I received a lot of comments this weekend but this is the only one I will remember for a long time. Thank you all for attending, especially Courtney.

A big thank you to the staff and volunteers of Equiventures, The Florida Horse Park and Best Florida Fest. You all worked so hard to make this event work and to give the competitors a great experience under challenging circumstances... a special thank you to Bunny Hendricks who broke her leg decorating the XC jumps...it did not stop her from completing her other duties throughout the event. Of course our biggest thank you is to our awesome competitors who have come back in droves.... we never forget that we are competing for you 👏

The Best Irish pony with a happy rider! That’s what we like to hear - enjoy your Baileys Lila 👏🏻

Happy St Patrick’s Day from the best Irish Pony and one seriously happy jockey!! This weekend we tackled our 4th Prelim together to finish 4th, and while our dressage lacked relaxation, and the deep footing in SJ left us with two uncharacteristic rails down, we left all that behind us as we made our way around the biggest and most technical Prelim course I’ve seen yet! Rollo cruised around the course this afternoon with ease and tremendous confidence and I’m just super proud of how hard he tries ALL THE TIME! We were one of the few pairs in a large division to jump double clear! Dressage will remain a working progress, but I am certain I’m sitting on a winning horse! Oh and the baileys cream was a nice prize! ☘️😊 Thank you everyone who supports us! Ride times for the weekend are POSTED! Please make sure you take a look and inform Rick of any conflicts / errors in your entry ASAP!! It’s so much easier for him to deal with them sooner rather than later 😊
