FYI!!

Canine influenza, or “dog flu,” is a highly contagious respiratory illness that can be passed from dog to dog. It typically starts with a cough and can be mistaken for the more common and well-known Bordetella. In some cases, canine influenza can progress to pneumonia.

On the last day of the Olympics!

As you know, we strive to be transparent. It appears that we have a virus. Two dogs from the same home have confirmed Upper Respiratory Infections. We have also noticed a few coughs from others.

When this happens we bring all the bells and whistles out to help slow the spread.

Here’s how you can help…
1) if your dog doesn’t need to come daycare-let them stay home for a few days…

2) if you hear a cough-please don’t bring your dog to daycare!

There’s always a risk for bumps/bruises and illness at doggie daycare. As along as everyone remains transparent and cautious-we can kick this bug in the butt😷

The heat has returned! Please remember that on these hot days, we really recommend you keeping your dogs home. Even with our best attempts-the building warms up as do the pools. Monday-Wednesday is shaping up to quite warm again so please keep this in mind . Happy Sunday!
