Burton’s Pride- fostering humane solutions, a loving home, and nurturing environment
Burtons Pride is a 501c3 rescue who’s mission is to foster as many orphaned, abandoned or high risk animals as our funding allows, observing for signs of trauma or emotional needs and ensuring they are placed in permanent loving homes which can accommodate those needs.
We place emphasis on socializing, training and building confidence in kitties who have been let down in the past. We do this by allowing them to live in a pack or “pride” as they would in the wild. They have a great leader, @Burtonthecat who showers them with kindness and care. At the same time, we offer them high quality care and supply all their veterinary needs including vaccinations, alterations, and microchips.
We believe that high standards of care are critical to the development and health of our babies. This means out rescues are fed high quality diets, receive proper veterinary care, and most importantly, are well socialized and make GREAT companions. Ask anyone who’s adopted from Burton’s Pride, and you will hear hearts overflowing with love and appreciation. Burton’s Pride has been called the “cat university” where cats can come to learn to CAT. We pride ourselves in the “matchmaking” aspect of pet adoption. Are are well versed in all feline behavior issues. Tell us what you are looking for in a forever friend, and we will make it happen through our global network of rescue partners.
