NEWS RELEASE .. Eastern Iowa Flea Markets & Antique Shows
Make plans now to attend the first annual Summer Flea Market, Antique, and Collectible Show being held on Sunday, June 26th at the Clinton County Fairgrounds in DeWitt, Iowa.
This show was previously held for the past 37 years at the Maquoketa, Iowa fairgrounds but has been moved permanently to the DeWitt fairgrounds.
This is one of Iowa's largest flea markets with expectations of 150 exhibitors (indoor and outdoor, weather permitting) selling a vast array of antiques and vintage items.
If you are a collector, antique dealer, or simply a nostalgia seeker or bargain hunter, then this is one show you do not want to miss.
There will be great food trucks on site with one being the famous Chuckie's Tenderloins truck. Plus Lucas Sanor, an award winning professional saxophone player from Illinois, will be providing musical entertainment throughout the day for your listening pleasure.
The hours of the show are 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Admission is only $4, with anyone 10 years and under free. Parking is also free. For buyers wanting to get an early start, early bird shoppers are welcome between the hours of 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM for an admission of $10 per person.

In addition to all of the above, three well known DeWitt antique stores will be open for business on Sunday as well -
Emma Rae's Antiques & Uniques, Chairy Picker, The Old Co-Op will welcome customers throughout the day while the flea market is in progress.
And finally, the last two Flea Market, Antique & Collectible Shows for the year are scheduled to be held at the Jones County Fairgrounds in Monticello on the dates of Sunday, August 21 and Sunday, October 16th. Please remember to mark your calendars.
