Handsome Barrett is finishing up his Board & Train stay and getting ready to start anchoring all his new skills with his handler. This guy is so stinking smart, and laser focused. He is such a joy to train. He can go from absolute crackhead, to laser focus in a snap. And did you notice how absolutely beautiful he is!

Rudy is finishing up his B&T and has been having a ball. This guy is nonstop. He has tons of energy and loves all things work and play. He has a great temperament and will play with anything and anyone. The cats still aren't sure he's a friend, but he's winning them over.
This guy is so smart. Can't wait to anchor all he's learned, with his human.
However, if there was a dog that hates pictures, it's Rudy. lol. 😂 pretty sure he was giving me the stink eye.

Dolly is finishing up her B&T and will soon be doing her private lesson follow ups. We are going to miss this sweet girl. She is so precious. She runs around like she's the community princess and looks a little surprised if the red carpet isn't rolled out for her. ❤️ She's a smart girl, and to be a princess, she is very low maintenance. She keeps a clean room, doesn't play in the mud, and once she's finished a session, she likes to just curl up for a nap. She has the most laid back personality of any female dog I've met. We all just love her! Isn't she beautiful

This working ball of energy will be finishing up his stay portion of B&T this week. Bumblebee is a perfect name for this guy. He is busy busy busy, but always gets his work done. He is smart, high energy and so much fun! He's pretty cute too!

What we offer:

PRIVATE TRAINING CLASSES- come let us train you and your dog with one on one instruction for basic and/or advanced obedience. Six week packages available.

BOARD & TRAIN- We offer a variety of Board & Train options with each program tailored to the individual dog.
We offer programs for ages 16 weeks up to seniors, from puppy development to behavioral issues, and even off-leash. Schedule a free consultation to discuss which program is best for you.

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class: these are a six week group class, that meets once per week. Cost is $225 and must prepay to reserve a spot. Please see link for available start times.

DOCK DIVING: Want to enjoy a fun water sport with your dog? Call to book your private lesson today! It's a great way to keep cool during the summer, and enjoy quality time with your dog.

BOARDING: While boarding isn't our primary function, we do offer boarding for clients that need a safe and fun place for their pup to stay while they are away. Our indoor/outdoor kennels are climate controlled and 4'x14'. Each kennel has its own cot. We also have large exercise fields for the pups to run and play and breathe in the fresh country air.

Don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are a family that loves what we do. We treat each dog as tho they were our own, and believe that training a dog to choose obedience, makes for a happier home and well adjusted dog. We believe in a healthy balance of establishing communication, teaching and setting expectation, and then holding them accountable for what they know. We believe in working with the personality of the individual dog to build on his/her strengths. We do not support any training that is abusive to the dog. We believe that people and dogs learn better, without creating unnecessary conflict.

Wrigley finished up his training board & train and his handlers have been coming weekly for the follow up sessions. (Where the real magic happens) He is so blessed to have handlers that put in the work to make sure he has his best life. And he looks good while he's living it! Isn't he beautiful!

It's important to reward behaviors that you want. It is a great way to teach routine. As you anchor the behavior the reward times become further apart, and eventually become praise, play, etc. We always fade food, but we never remove reward. The reward just changes.

Y'all remember Frieda? Turns out when we say the girl can fly (run fast, dock dive crazy distance) it also includes her own seat with frequent flyer miles. Isn't she just the cutest!

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Not this girl! Findley is rocking her Kick Start. She's hard working and loves all the attention of training. I love her salt and pepper face and that in her wisdom, she's a no nonsense kinda girl.

This handsome guy is just the sweetest. He loves praise, is very sensitive, and just wants to make everyone around him smile. Silly finishes up his board and train this week and we are gonna miss his smile. He just lights up the room.
