Y'all, this is the best stuff we've found! Absolutely zero issues with our clients, and it smells amazing!!!!
I even use this to wash the kennel towels!
When kennel cough ramped up this year, we called Culleoka Company and talked to the guy that develops the cleaner to get recommendations on how to best protect our clients and our personal dogs. Excellent product, excellent customer service!

Working with Aurora on "go to bed". The goal is for her to get on the bed and automatically lay down. Since we've lured this position, we are now freeshaping and "marking and paying" the desired behavior. This sweet girl has a ton of energy, and loves to learn.

Winnie Girl finished up her B&T program and is back doing follow up to anchor behaviors. Follow up visits are crucial to training. It does the handler no good if the dog will only communicate with us. These sessions transfer all that knowledge and skill to the handler, and allow the dog to really shine and show just how smart they are.
Not all dogs have the same drives. Winnie challenged us because she wasn't super motivated to work for toys or food, but would work for praise and affection. She is also phenomenal on leash, but has to choose to submit to having the leash put on. Her handler is phenomenal. She is patient and works with Winnie's natural instincts and tendencies, doesn't try to over power her and allows her to choose obedience and reward.
Winnie is a super smart girl, and we miss her daily cuddles.

Dolly is finishing up her Board & Train this week and gearing up to anchor these new skills with her human. This beautiful girl is so sweet. Shes smart and enjoys learning. She also loves the crisp cool mornings exploring in the fields. ❤️

Rosie is finishing up her Board and Train this week, and getting ready to head home. This beautiful girl is such a ham. She loves to play, talk and learn new things. She has a ton of energy, and an even bigger personality. ❤️. Can't wait to see her thrive as her humans learn her language and anchor her new skills.

Sweet Sydney. Isn't she beautiful!?! This girl is finishing up her Board & Train stay, and is getting ready to go home with all her new skills. She is smart, great temperament, loves to play, and loves the dock. Shes just an all around fun dog. (And yes, she needs a bath-she also loves the dirt❤️)

Meet Frieda. You probably recognize her from some of our dock diving posts on Steel City Dock Dogs. This workaholic girl has been here for her board and train, and is finishing up some lessons with her handler this week, before heading back to Brooklyn, NY. She has been so much fun to train. She's smart, fun, and loves to work.
Keep your ears open for her name, you're likely to hear it on the championship boards for Dock diving.

It's is definitely feeling more like Fall! The dogs are able to spend more time outside exploring (without concerns of overheating) and we are loving it!

With outside fun, comes the reminder of outside behaviors. Are you ready for all the fun outdoor activities with your best friend? Need to work on recall and leash skills? Give us a call.

We currently have openings for November training. (And maybe one emergency October)

We offer a variety of services from private lessons, board & train, puppy classes, AKC CGC and Advanced CGC titles, and even boarding when you need a safe fun place to hang out while your human is away. We even have a 50' x 22' regulation dock diving pool! 💦

What we offer:

PRIVATE TRAINING CLASSES- come let us train you and your dog with one on one instruction for basic and/or advanced obedience. Six week packages available.

BOARD & TRAIN- We offer a variety of Board & Train options with each program tailored to the individual dog.
We offer programs for ages 16 weeks up to seniors, from puppy development to behavioral issues, and even off-leash. Schedule a free consultation to discuss which program is best for you.

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class: these are a six week group class, that meets once per week. Cost is $225 and must prepay to reserve a spot. Please see link for available start times.

DOCK DIVING: Want to enjoy a fun water sport with your dog? Call to book your private lesson today! It's a great way to keep cool during the summer, and enjoy quality time with your dog.

BOARDING: While boarding isn't our primary function, we do offer boarding for clients that need a safe and fun place for their pup to stay while they are away. Our indoor/outdoor kennels are climate controlled and 4'x14'. Each kennel has its own cot. We also have large exercise fields for the pups to run and play and breathe in the fresh country air.

Don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are a family that loves what we do. We treat each dog as tho they were our own, and believe that training a dog to choose obedience, makes for a happier home and well adjusted dog. We believe in a healthy balance of establishing communication, teaching and setting expectation, and then holding them accountable for what they know. We believe in working with the personality of the individual dog to build on his/her strengths. We do not support any training that is abusive to the dog. We believe that people and dogs learn better, without creating unnecessary conflict.

This girl cracks me up. Darcie was here for a short stay while her humans were busy. She is the sweetest thing. From snuggles with our oldest son Zack, to playing with the mini dachshunds and getting her bath, she is always smiling and ready to play. We love this sweet beagle.
