When Are Raccoons Most Active?

Raccoons can usually sleep during the day and during the night, which is called crepuscular activity. They are most active during the early evening and morning. Raccoons are also more likely to carry distemper than rabies in South Florida.
Raccoons can travel about 20 miles but usually stay close to home which can average about 200 acres.
