i guess we can show off one of the new animals in our facility! our baby lavender skunk named Mara Jade born may the 4th 2023. these are not wild caught these are captive bred skunks and have been de-scented and vetted. been waiting a few weeks on the game wardens and other things for our license. since these are native here they require a different procedure and process to legally own and possess. we’ve wanted one for awhile now and finally decided to get one and couldn’t be happier. she’s one of the coolest animals we own.

my savannah monitor insect feeding. a lot of these guys in captivity are fed meats because they won’t eat their insects even tho they are insectivores. our previous monitor only ate meat. this one has taken all insects and rats and is actually handleable. most savannah monitors in captivity have a nasty temper due to them being imported in high numbers and unsafe conditions.

as some of you know these have been some of our favorite snakes over the last year and we picked up another pairing we’re still gonna try to captive breed these. there’s only a handful of people that have successfully captive bred these in the country

part of it! missed its food on the tongs and got my finger right passed it. luckily just a baby feed bite i thought i would stop and record it before getting him off🤣

VIEWERS DISCRETION! Tegu feeding on LIVE pinkie! black and white red cross! this one here didn’t eat for 3 months due to brumation. we made some adjustments and he’s ate the last 3 meals!! this was the first live feeding we’ve done for him. he came and took it without hesitation.

svannah monitor feeding! unknown sex yet but this monitor here is doing great eating calcium dusted insects and meat every feeding!

Boa sunglow pairing

second time pairing for these 2. this is our bonnie & clyde pair. bonnie our female is 6+ year old khal albino motley sunglow paired with clyde also know as (sunny) because he is a beautiful sunglow. we hope to produce lots of beautiful babies soon.
