Caucasian Shepherd Dogs and/or Ovcharka is a breed of large livestock guardian dog native to the countries of the Caucasus Mountain Region, notably Georgia, Russia, and Azerbaijan. Developed in the Soviet Union in the 1920s from dogs of the Caucasus Mountains & the regions of Southern Russia. These dogs

are not for the normal dog owner. They will protect their own whether it’s livestock, property, or your family. These dogs are 100% loyal to you & only you. They are defenders. Our dogs have been imported from Serbia from the best blood in the world Diamond Stock. Training and socialization is critical for this breed, but it still can be difficult to quell their protective instinct. Today, they are mostly family companions, watchdogs, & property guardians, though they are still used by shepherds to tend to flocks. They have retained many of their cautious, standoffish, and sometimes aggressive traits, so they need early socialization and firm training to avoid incidents. Our shepherds are registered & will only go to qualified worthy homes.
