Our Fall Fundraiser was a huge success thanks to all our supporters, donors, volunteers and friends of PAWS-OK. We are finally done with the clean up (some items that didn't sell will be posted on Marketplace in the coming weeks) and getting ready for the fall and holiday season. Watch for dates of our Santa Paws appearances at A1 in December. Now its back to finding homes for all our cats!

We are so busy getting our Fall Yard Sale Fundraiser together! Once again we will be sharing out yard with Misfits, Mutts and Meows so they too can raise some funds for their rescue expenses. Here is the poster we have put together. Please feel free to print copies and post them in your businesses, lunchrooms etc. If you have ever been to one of our sales you know we get loads of great donations and you never know what you might find - this one is no exception. There is a UPC Code on the flyer that you can scan with your phone camera that will take you to our post on Estatesales.org where you will find lots of pictures and details of some of our items.
It's important to also note that Oct 18-19 is also the Warwick Estates Neighborhood Garage Sale too so there should be plenty to see at other sales as well.

We set us Santa PAWS snowflake bench today at A1 Pet Emporium on Britton Road. All that is missing is Santa and YOU! Come by on Saturday between Noon and 4PM and help support PAWS-OK by getting your picture taken with Santa!

We are looking for one volunteer to help up at each of our two Santa-PAWS Holiday photo sessions at A1 Pet Emporium on Britton Road. We need a volunteer on Dec 9th and Dec 16th from about 11:30 to 4:30 (allowing for set up and clean up) who has some experience downloading and saving pictures to a PC file. If you are interested, please contact us. These sessions are loads of fun and you'll meet some great people!

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who donated or came by to shop at our Fall Yard Sale Fundraiser this past weekend. It was a bit windy on Thursday and then a bit on the cooler side Friday and Saturday but that didn't stop our supporters from coming by to support us. We would also like to thank Misfit, Mutts and Meows for their help and participation. We look forward to working with them again on the spring. Funds raised at the sale help fund the spay/neuter, medical and fostering expenses of both rescues.

Just a friendly reminder!

Three weeks and counting till our big sale!
Location: In Warwick Estates (NW 122 and MacArthur) in the yard of private home (follow the signs). The side gate opens at 8:00 AM each day until 3PM. This is a CASH ONLY sale. Proceeds will help fund the rescue, vetting and adoption of homeless OKC felines. The Warwick Estates Neighborhood Garage Sale will also be happening on Friday and Saturday so there will be multiple sales for avid shoppers. Maps will be available of the sales.
Donations: Gently used items will be accepted until Oct 1st. Due to space, we cannot accept the following items: mattresses, large appliances, large furniture (sofas, entertainment centers, dressers, recliners etc.) encyclopedia sets, exercise equipment, motorized vehicles etc. If you have a question about a specific item, please contact us. Donations will be accepted at the sale site or pick-up in the OKC area can be arranged. No donations will be accepted after Oct 1st to allow the volunteers time to price items. We are getting ready for our annual Fall Yard Sale Fundraiser and have officially started taking donations (until Oct 1). If you have any small items you would like to donate please let us know. We can't accept any large or heavy furniture, beds, televisions, large appliances, encyclopedias or exercise machines. (We are getting a bit too old to manage those types of items!) We do appreciate getting toys, children's clothes, home décor, kitchen items, tools and holiday items as examples... Again this fall our sale will be the same weekend as the Warwick Estates Neighborhood Garage Sale so there should be loads of great shopping (especially on Friday and Saturday) all in one area. Thank you to everyone who came by our Charity Sale this weekend in Lakeview Estates. It was quite busy and your purchases and donations raised over $3K for the rescue! Our next fundraiser will be our Annual Fall Yard Sale in Warwick Estates on Oct 12-13-14 so make sure its on your calendar.
