Meet the Team Monday!

Hey, my name is Kayla! I've loved animals my entire life and for the past 5 years I've been a cat and dog groomer. I absolutely love being able to not only make them look cute but to make them comfortable and happy! Comfort is always my #1 priority. In my free time I love to read, play video games, spend time with all my animals and rescue others.

We would also like to announce that Kayla will be accepting grooming clients on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays starting April 1st!!

Meet the Team Monday!

Hi, I'm Lucy! I'm a freshman at K-state majoring in animal science and minoring in agricultural economics, and will be heading to K-state vet school after graduation. I have two cats at home, and love to read, bake, run/work out, and be outdoors. I have been working at Bradford since September 2023 and have loved every minute of it!

🚨 BRUTAL COLD ALERT: PROTECT YOUR PETS! 🚨

SEE PHOTO FOR ANIMAL CONTROL.
If you see something say something. It’s a guarantee that animals will freeze to death in these temps. Be their voice!

Temps could plummet to -30° wind chills through Friday morning—life-threatening for both humans and animals. Frostbite can happen in under 30 minutes! ❄️

🔥 Keep your pets safe with these cold-weather tips:

🏡 Bring them inside – No pet should be left outdoors in extreme cold. Even outdoor animals need warm, insulated shelter. If you need help, reach out!

🚶‍♂️ Limit outdoor time – Quick potty breaks only! If it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for them.

🧥 Layer up – Short-haired dogs can benefit from a coat or sweater for extra warmth.

🐾 Protect their paws – Ice, salt, and frostbite are serious risks. Wipe their paws and check for cracks or irritation after walks.

🚗 Check under your car – Stray cats often seek warmth near engines. Give your hood a knock before starting your vehicle.

☠️ Use pet-safe antifreeze – Standard antifreeze is highly toxic to pets.

📢 If you see a pet left outside in extreme conditions, BE THEIR VOIC! Contact local authorities or an animal welfare organization for assistance.

Stay warm, stay safe, and keep your furry friends protected! ❄️🐾❤️

Meet the Team Monday!

Hi everyone, I'm Madeline! I am a sophomore in college, as a pre-vet med student at Washburn University. After finishing my undergrad, I hope to go to vet school at K-State. I have worked at Bradford for over a year and a half, and I am so excited for what 2025 holds at our clinic! I absolutely love animals, especially cats and dogs, and I plan on working in a small animal vet clinic. Alongside loving animals, I absolutely love connecting with people. I am passionate about working here, and I can't wait to get to know many more clients and pets at Bradford.

Meet the Team Monday!

Hi, I'm Lisa, the lead receptionist at Bradford Pet Hospital. A little about me, I love gardening and making a variety of crafts. My family and I enjoy camping and preserving our garden harvests to enjoy throughout the winter and share with family and friends. When I get a break, Mark and I love to go camping at our favorite spot by the lake. At home, I stay busy with my two cats, Duck and Goose, and my dog, Jet, who always keeps life exciting.

Did you know untreated dental issues can seriously affect a pet's overall health? Periodontal disease, which is common in pets, doesn't just cause bad breath. It can lead to pain, tooth lose, and infections that spread to vital organs like the heart, liver, and kidneys. Bacteria from the mouth can enter the bloodstream, increasing the risk of systemic diseases. Regular dental care helps prevent these complications and can extend a pet's life!
