📖
“Canine separation anxiety is a behavioral disorder of dogs when left alone or separated from a significant person or persons” (Sherman, Mills 2008).

🔊Having a dog, you can’t leave home alone, is stressful and painfully isolating. It can also be costly. Most people don’t know what you are going through and can’t help you. That’s why we created Home Alone-Taking Anxiety Out Of Separation.

🌐This dynamic, interactive class offers you a community of people with a similar experience while providing an effective training protocol at an affordable price.

The course includes the following:
✅5 hours of pre recorded webinars
✅Over 7 hours of live virtual sessions
✅Video demonstrations from the team at Behavior Vets
✅Access to an instructor moderated forum
✅Live Q&A with Dr. Elise Christensen
✅Trackable training sheets
✅Printable weekly handouts

Students completing this course will leave with the knowledge of how to:
✅Identify their dog's body language when stressed.
✅Keep their dog comfortable while still expanding their ability to tolerate being alone.
✅Develop a specific training protocol that is unique for their pet.
✅Create their own training protocol so that they can continue working independently long after the class has ended.
✅How to properly reassess your dog to set the most advantageous criteria to maximize your dog’s success.

There are two ways to be a part of the class:

⭐Live Participants
Each live class is open to 6 working participants. These participants will receive feedback and coaching from Jenna Gallicchio during live sessions, and have the opportunity to ask Dr. E’lise Christensen their burning questions during the final week’s Q/A!
⭐Auditors (Use code AuditSA at checkout)
Each live class will be open to auditors. Auditors will have access to all learning materials and can watch the classes live or recorded, Auditors will not be permitted to unmute, turn on their video, or ask any questions to any of our instructors.
Join us for “Home Alone-Taking the Separation out of Anxiety”
Live Participant: $450.00

Separation Anxiety can feel hard. It is difficult NOT to focus on the problems and how much Separation Anxiety impacts your life. It sucks. At times it can feel like life or death because your living situation might be at risk and your quality of life has decreased. You feel isolated and your whole world now revolves around the dog. You might even feel like you are in a prison.

When living with a dog with Separation Anxiety, it can be hard to focus on the fun in life; it can be hard to see progress even when it's happening. Every training rep can feel incredibly important, and even small set backs can be frustrating or even debilitating. Not to mention the affect of witnessing how much your dog is suffering emotionally and possibly physically.

Behavior disorders are high stakes, but you don't have to be alone while working on them.

Dog guardians want someone to guide them through all of this, someone who can organize a plan, help them prioritize, and make the work (and relationship) joyful again.

We are those people. We help people feel good about what they are doing by creating a workflow that can be fun, engaging, and motivating.

Learn more about how we do this when addressing Separation Anxiety by joining us for this webinar. ⬇️ Dog guardians struggling with Separation Anxiety can also learn techniques to address this behavior issue in this webinar.

With approaching, we want to remind you that many Labor Day festivities and foods can be harmful to our pets. Keep your pets happy, healthy, and safe this holiday weekend with these tips:

☀️ Beat the heat: Dogs are susceptible to heat stroke. Make sure there is plenty of water and shade for your furry friends to keep cool.

🍽️ Protect your plate: Many foods we enjoy on Labor Day such as onions, corn cobs, chocolate, grapes, and alcohol can be toxic to pets or pose a choking hazard.

🍔 Guard the grill: Keep pets away from the grill, grill tools, lighter fluid, and matches in order to avoid burns and hazardous chemical ingestion.

🎆 Forego the fireworks: Not only can fireworks frighten pets, but they can also cause severe burns. Keep your pets calm and safe in a quiet, sheltered, and escape-proof area.

If your pet should experience an emergency over the holiday weekend, remember that Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls is open 24/7/365 for emergencies: 732.747.3636.
