Can you believe it . Yes also this cutie pie was on the euthanasia list but can’t safe under our wings .

AXTON is a little bit shy the first seconds but warms up very fast .

This pretty shepherd / husky mix is a very sweet dog .
He is dog friendly however Introduction has to be done slowly .

He is 3.5 years old and would fit in the most families .

Actez is a wonderful, sweet, adorable five-year-old shepherd.

This sweet boy escaped the kill shelter and was safely placed under our care.

He is dog-friendly and playful, perhaps slightly shy initially, but warms up quickly.

We are seeking an amazing family who will adore him as a family member and provide the life he deserves.

A tribute to the Grande Dame of France and Raffie ( Mister one tooth ) and his brother Odin .

The legendary Brigitte Bardot received her wings . A woman who was international known as a s*x symbol .
She was known as THE actress of France and became a major fashion icon who still dominates fashion styles today .

However she does not want to be rememberd for it . There was nothing divine on being Brigitte Bardot where her own words . It was a public image . She turned her back away from fame and became a fiercely animal activist .

Mrs Bardot you left giant footsteps on this earth and you inspired many of us . Your light was like an inferno and each of us will carry a part of your light further in this world . Thank you for the amazing woman you were . You are a LEGEND .

Most rescuers posted already their condolences . We can comfort you with words Maren but in the end this is your worst nightmare to live .

You did an amazing job cracking us all up with your funny videos and the love you have for your dogs . You do an amazing g job to show what bait dogs are and how wonderful they can be .
I can only say girl . When they left this earth they put a crown on your head .
They came in your life for a reason . Their job is done even when you want to hold them forever .
You will pick up all the shattered pieces and carry the same light on your pad . Raffie and Odin brought you that light in your heart and you will let it shine further there were darkness tries to dominate .
Their names are going around over the world and people love them because of you .
It’s no coincidence that the magnificent Brigitte Bardot passed away .
She run after Raffie and Odin and they are safe now in her arms .

Yes, that’s right . Also this baby was almost euthanized in the shelter of San Antonio .

He is safe now with us .

Atiko is lovely . Playful , sweet , easy . Dog friendly . A wonderful dog who was dumped in a high kill shelter .

He is around 2.5 years old and just wants to be loved .

We are looking for a family who will adore him just like we do . It would be wonderful if he can be in a home before Christmas.

They were not a bonded pair . They became friends at our vet in Texas .

They just arrived in Huntington NY .

Another happy Christmas story .

Oh boy . Where do I start …

We received an email that Aleki his adopter unfortunately passed away .

We always protect our dogs until their last days and were asked if we would take Aleki back .

Off course we do but my stomach was turning . Aleki is almost 9 year old and the only place was to board him in the kennels .

Adoptions are for every rescue and shelter slow after covid and a 9 year old dog would not be adopted again . We are very realistic about it .

The couple who contacted us were also the same people who send his adopter to us . Aleki was boarded at a vet while his owner was laying in the hospital . Her brother paid off the bill and they would pick him up to return to me .

They gad some questions and I told them he was an easy boy and send some pictures I had for him . 5 minutes later another email if they could do a meet and greet after the holidays with their dog and if I could keep him . I told them that it was not a problem .

The next day they asked me if they found try it right away with their dog and if the dog could stay overnight because they had a long drive to bring him back .

To make a long story short they fell in love and Aleki has a new forever home .

We thank Gary and Viviane Koutrakos to open their home and heart for this senior boy . We wish you all the blessing for the New Year and many many sweet memories be made .

Aleki . Jump for joy . YES … you don’t end up in our kennels but have a new fur sister and a family who loves you .

I’m sorry that your owner is in heaven but I’m sure she protected you to send your new family .

Two years ago she came in to my life. The rescue named her after me.

Cinderella ... if nobody adopts her I will take her I said with a big mouth. The next day I had to pick you up at the vet. That first eye contact. I never forgot it . It was there, that connection. You and me, we are the same.

You only weigh 32 pounds. Today you are big girl of 90 pounds. You were skin over bones, your skin battered with severe mange . You had blisters on your private parts. You were a complete mess...and god you stank .
