Carolyn's K9 Retreat

Carolyn's K9 Retreat We provide dog boarding and daycare 365 days a year. Cared for just as they would be at home! We have 3 acres with 5 different fenced in play areas.

We also have a 2 car garage we have turned into a doggy playpen and we welcome the dogs into our home freely. We provide care for all size and age of dogs. We meet with all new dogs before their stays to ensure the safety and comfort of all of our pups. Our home and our lives have become dedicated to making sure your dog is comfortable, happy, and healthy while you are apart.

Today is World's Mental Health Day!
This is a reminder to take care of yourself, be kind to yourself, and give yourself grace. We are all human and doing our best!
Pet a pup, practice some self care, and do something that brings you joy today!
Here is a heartwarming bit of info- studies show that dogs have a profound effect on their human's mental wellbeing. Petting a dog releases serotonin and dopamine, and staring into the eyes of your furry best friend releases oxytocin. Your pups can aid in getting those "feel good chemicals" flowing!

To keep all of our furry friends safe with the warm summer weather, make sure to follow the Seven Second Rule when it comes to taking your dog for a walk on asphalt. ☀️It can be a lot hotter on the pavement than it is in the air so make sure to check the ground temperature with your hand to keep your pup safe. Wouldn't wanna any pup toe beans to be hurt!
