Hi everyone,
Plans are coming together for the Extravaganza!
We are thinking of having someone providing dinner on Saturday night and then lunch on Sunday afternoon.
Would you be interested in having hamburgers and hotdogs cooked for you, a pick of an accompanying salad, a drink and chips for a donation of $10-$12.00 ? We'd have a sign up sheet for those interested at the Welcome table so that we would have a number of those coming to dinner.
But before that, we'd like an idea of who would even be interested in such an idea. Just say "YES" in the comment section below.
We are thinking of offering this since getting a food truck in has been more than difficult. My sister's husband Mic Kenney has volunteered to provide the food and cooking on both days. Mic has a long history of providing great food for golf tournaments, other large get togethers and for large restaurant specialties.
By providing food, we are also trying to maintain food safety and make it easier for participants so they don't have to rush out to buy/provide something for the Saturday evening potluck.
If there is enough interest, we may be able to have Mic provide a pancake breakfast on Sunday, but first we need to make sure that there is enough interest on Saturday night.
We'd still like folks to bring desserts for everyone. Desserts are easy to make and store.
