This gorgeous grass can grow up to 15' tall (after about the 3rd year) and can reach up to 4' across. Giant Miscanthus is a sterile plant therefore it does not produce seed. It can ONLY be propagated by planting rhizomes.

The grasses in the foreground are two seasons old in this phhoto. The garden fence is 4' tall, This is a full sun area and our soil is very rocky. No fertilizers are used to produce this growth. The grasses on the far right are abour13' tall and were on year 4
