Petey was right at home with Andrea and her family. She said, “We are very much in love. His new name is Jasper. Our other kitten is Onyx. Both gemstones and Jasper means precious stone symbolizing grounding. He is such a snuggle bug.”
Jasper was a complete surprise to the children. They had no idea he was coming and they were both so happy. Sooo sweet! More pics and updates to follow.

Remy and Emile are settling in nicely at their new home. Shannon commented that is was hard to get pictures of them as they were so busy exploring. She said, “The boys are doing well. Eating like mad, very affectionate and both have been purring. Our dog snuck into their room twice and she has zero interest in the boys but they were watching her closely. So far so good.” As you can see in the pics, they were also helping her husband Brian work. I bet they were a big help!!!!

The girls are six weeks old now and very active. Their Mom Kenzi follows them around like a hawk never too far away.

Today Patterson who is now Remy, Poet who is now Emile, and Petey new name to be determined will all go to their new homes. Remy and Emile will go together. Always bittersweet when the littles leave. Notice in the picture of Petey, Emile and Quincy on the end of the couch, Quincy has her arm around Emile. The girls will miss all the action from the boys!!

Monday Iris’s babies had their neuters and spay. My vet Dr. Christin sent me this pic of them recovering. It is so sweet. They are all doing well and the boys will head to their new homes on Sunday, and Penny will stay with me a little longer to heal.

Update on Mitzi from Sean. Her name remains Mitzi. She has now been introduced to Dumpling and initially Mitzi basically ignored Dumpling, as she was much more interested in exploring the house. Dumpling was a little miffed as to why she was in his house but not overly upset. Sean said “She's doing great in her new home and she has successfully become the family's ruler. They both enjoy the squirrel show in the backyard.” Sean’s favourite pic is the first one with them looking out the door and window. Thanks Sean and for the update and great pics. Mitzi is a lucky lady!
