Iris’s babies are six weeks old and Luna’s baby Quincy is nine days younger. They had a busy day today. First of all Quincy and her Mom joined the other kittens full time. She was visiting them but now they will stay together. It’s so cute to see Quincy play with his new siblings. And then they graduated into the full kitten room. Within minutes they were running, jumping and climbing. And then within an hour they were all asleep!! LOL

What a big show! Lots of action at the Pet Expo. Mitzi and North spent two days showing in Champion with several beautiful devons and almost seventy cats of many breeds. Mitzi is not a fan of the show world and had a hard time returning to the cage after each ring but North seemed to enjoy the whole experience with lots of chatter with the judges. She needs to fully develop her coat but did manage to earn four third best of the breed and one second best of breed.
What’s nice about the shows is the chance to chat with friends old and new. Of course it’s always nice to chat cats with other breeders. My friend Marlain came with me on the Saturday and was a great help. Mary and Sandra both stopped in to visit.
And it was really nice to see a couple of my pet parents and a couple pet parents to be.
Keep an eye for the upcoming litters to be born by the end of the month.

Congrats to Toni and her owner Shelley. Toni earned the title of Best Devon Rex for the past show season. Toni was from a litter of three - my second breeding of Winter. Alice was from her first litter and Luna was from her last litter. They are all beautiful examples of the breed. I am very proud of my Toni and her accomplishments.

Melanie and her son picked up Ollie from the Cobourg show on Saturday and took him home to Port Hope. Ollie has joined a busy household. Melanie and her husband have four children, cats and dogs. Melanie said “He is super loving, playful, energetic and an all round lover boy.” This pet lover family is perfect for Ollie.

Olivia went home Friday afternoon with Nicole and her family to the Brantford area. Her new name is Mochi. Nicole got this pic later that day commenting that it was hard to get a pic as she was so busy exploring. And yesterday Nicole said “She is so affectionate, she likes to cuddle, and is mostly always purring.” So nice to hear.

Bryer, North and Mitzi attended the CCA show in Cobourg this past weekend. Bryer attended on Saturday and he and North earned their championship title. There were twelve beautiful devons showing in the adult class.
Bryer was a well behaved boy taking everything in stride.
North received some very favourable comments and was quite a character in the ring. The guest judge was quite taken with her personality and features.
Mitzi made her way into two finals amongst a huge number of champions earning some points towards her grand champion.
Overall a good weekend spending time with friends. Off to the TICA cat show in Mississauga next weekend!

Olivia’s new name is Mochi. Mochi and Ollie will be going to their new homes soon. Ollie actually goes on Saturday when his family will pick him up from the Cobourg cat show. Mitzi, North and Bryer are attending the show. Olivia will go home soon when her spay is completely healed. This little pair have been a joy to raise and I will miss them.
